I've been using the Simplix Pack for some time now to keep my Windows 7 Pro. installation up to date. However, I think I am right in saying that all support, even extended support, for Win 7 ends in January 2023 (which is only a few weeks away at this point in time). So can anyone say when will be the last issue/final issue of the Simplix Pack? Is there an issue in January and then Simplix comes to an end? Or is there some other known date for which Simplix comes to an end?

Hello, I installed Bypass ESU v9, got a lot of pending updates but when trying to install the KB5020000 I get the error 800F0816. The OS (Win 7 pro) is not able to start after the installation and I have to do a system restore. The same happens with the KB5021291 (error 80242016). I'm wondering if the simplix pack would fix this by installing an alternative/replacement and if it would detect automatically the updates already installed and only install what is missing/faulty. Thank you.
Hi, After adding the latest pack on a clean image, after install Windows update gives these updates: * KB2823180 (WMF 3.0 update) * KB947821 (SUR) * KB3172605 (WU scan is fast enough) * KB5010798 (out of the band 2022-01 for server issues) * 2022-10 Security and Quality Rollup for .NET Framework 3.5.1, 4.6.2, 4.7, 4.7.1, 4.7.2, 4.8 for Windows 7 for x64 (KB5018547 (WU installs KB5013637 from it) As those are not included in the pack. Those are not really required? (Especially KB2823180 - KB3172605) It doesn't harm to install those anyway, right? Thx!
AFAIK, Simplix Pack don't include WMF 3.0 or any WMF version KB3172605 is not old (superseded) or ment only to fix WU scan, but it may cause issues with Bluetooth or EMET, so it's excluded
So the next version should be the final one, it's the end of an era...Thank you Simplix for the continuous update, your update pack will probably continue to be used as the ultimate update for Windows 7 & 2008R2.
Will there be POSReady updates? Thanks for doing this Simplix, I will seed your packs forever regardless
@rhreznor No. Either: a) run it on a live installed windows 7 sp1 media refresh system with the .wa addons in the same folder b) drag&drop a windows 7 sp1 media refresh iso onto the updatepack.exe with the .wa addons in the same folder
Sorry I didnt understand Refresh? And live I have a Windows 7 sp1 exe for a ssd. Put the update pac in a rar if i needed to. Drag and drop the win 7 exe into the update pac?
Question. If I install the ESU from here will it update the 7 anyway without all this trouble here or do I have to go through the update pac? Very good question?
