The last article I read, the end of the line is January 2026, but I doubt that date is written in stone. In time, we will find out.

I tried to integrate the Simplix pack with the Windows 7 install.wim image and it says it can't unmount the image. What is going on here?
Just curious: do people still use Windows 7 as their daily driver? EDIT: I'm not going to turn this into a long, drawn-out conversation, so a yes or a no would suffice. EDIT: Don't worry, I tried doing it in another computer and it works. Thanks!
Yes Asus N752VX with 64GB RAM and 1TB M2 SSD disk upgrades. Not going to change main laptop anytime soon.
If you're referring to the Simplix update tool, I ran the update pack that downloads the latest update in to another file in which the Windows 7 computer would use to update itself, not the one with the multiple scripts.
I did update the install.wim file, that's what the Simplix pack did with the parameters Code: UpdatePack7R2-24.6.12 /WimFile=C:\Download\install.wim /Index=*
Can't remember when somebody even used that manual command, @simplix made the "drop ISO on updatepack to create an updated ISO" and boss911 (russian) and i (english) made tools which do the job much better and easier, my tool does it even in much less time.
