Thanks for the clarification! Will do my friend. Also why only 40 updates are integrated? Are those 40 the most important

June's Simplix Pack is available for download: MD5: 473C1C4977EC616B3584675FE8E36E17 SHA-256: 46CB3A1BF4497DF2C2BFC7658803BCACFAD8F7F3F48AB313B02B0BFDCBBC7EE7
https://forums.mydigitallife.net/posts/1881631 Updated: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...egrate-hotfixes-into-win7-distribution.45005/ & https://forums.mydigitallife.net/posts/1516362
The purpose of this "Simplix Pack" program is to install post-ESU security updates for W7 unofficially. Is that right? For example, is it possible to install updates that were not made for W7...? the latest updates I have on my W7 Ux64 are: Update for Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8 (KB5020879) | 12/13/2022 Update for Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8 (KB5018516) | 10/11/2022 Update for Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8 (KB4532941) | 01/14/2020 Security Update for Microsoft Windows (KB5022338) | 02/08/2023 Update for Microsoft Windows (KB5020861) | 12/13/2022 Update for Microsoft Windows (KB5013637) | 05/10/2022 Security Update for Microsoft Windows (KB5017397) | 09/13/2022 Security Update for Microsoft Windows (KB5016892) | 08/24/2022 Update for Microsoft Windows (KB5010798) | 01/17/2022 Security Update for Microsoft Windows (KB4536952) | 01/14/2020 Update for Microsoft Windows (KB4532945) | 01/14/2020 Security Update for Microsoft Windows (KB4575903) | 07/30/2020 Security Update for Microsoft Windows (KB4570673) | 11/08/2020
The updatepack contains all needed updates, no other updates need to be installed. NDP/vc++ addons can be put aside the updatepack and they will be installed too.
Is there any way to be more specific, I'm a layman on the subject, install.wim is in D:nomedaiso:sources;install.wim, so what would the exact command look like up to that point? Thanks
Code: dism /get-imageinfo /imagefile:d:\nomediaiso\sources\install.wim Code: dism /get-imageinfo /imagefile:d:\nomediaiso\sources\install.wim /index:X Where you replace X with the index of the edition you want to check.
Odd things were happening when yesterday I tried and installed Win7x64 (Entreprise instead of Pro because it has inactive "Games manager" / "Games" folder when you delete it from start menu). I installed simplix june '25 pack on Win 7 Ent SP1 and then could not get graphics driver (for my GeForce GTX 750Ti) to start. I tried 475.14 (latest bug-fix release) with and without nvcleanstall and nvcleanstall 474.89 version - in Device manager it said it could not start graphics driver due to certification issues (as if the certificates weren't valid or files corrupted which they weren't). I even tried updating root certificates with root certificates updater from github to no avail. I gave up and installed cut down "10" Pro with 576.80 driver (nvcleanstall) and it functions properly.
It's an intriguing puzzle. I thought Simplix offered USB drivers, but I'm not seeing how to access them? I just installed the update packs, and they work!! I'm now UEFI + Secure Boot. It would be nice to have USB ports. I'm on PS2 mouse and keyboard until I figure out how to get a USB driver. I like the idea of using the Simplix driver, because of the extent of study he's invested in these issues.
The Windows 7 USB 3 drivers are here: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/usb-3-xhci-driver-stack-for-windows-7.81934/
Thanks, both. It sounds like I need to use the Simplix "downloader" to get the USB drivers? I'll try it a bit later today.
