Prepared ISO Seven x64 with integrated UpdatePack 18.2.18 Dot Net 4.7.1 version 4.7.2623.9 QualityCompact.reg Clean installation without proposal of obsolete updatings from WU Integration complete February 2018 Configuration Pc CPU Intel I7 @ 3.0 MHZ Video card NVIDIA GT730 Completed installation without errors without decelerations cpu no BSOD
I encountered this error at the first stages of integration: failed to mount the system's registry, error code 1. (Scan) Any help?
if you could give more information about what you have done during the integration and what command line did you use for integraton, that would help to determine the cause of the error message that you receive and solutions will then proposed to you to fix this issue. The first thing that comes in my mind is that the iso you're using for integration (install.wim) is probably corrupted. Try to download another win7 iso from safe source and repeat the integration procedure.
After waiting for the updates to install, it restarts and continues with the remaining updates, but then it just shuts down the PC with no warning. After manually restarting and re-executing the pack again it restarts updating from the beginning again. Where could be the problem? I thought it was the power options but I made sure the PC won't go to sleep or hibernate while the pack installs its numerous updates, so I'm not sure if there is something in the order the updates are installed that is causing this random shutdown problem. How many times does it really need to restart and continue the updates installation? TIA Here is the log file (the line highlighted in red is the point when the PC shutdown unexpectedly, meaning the updates didn't complete nor did it restart automatically):
if you use the updatepack online atleast 3 times if remember correctly.! the updatepack installing the update with specify order so the updates works perfectly and dont cause issues..
Yes, based on the log file, it successfully finished the first round of updates, rebooted automatically, then started the next round of updates when the PC just shut down without warning. I manually turned on the PC and re-executed the updates pack which started right back at the beginning, then it continued and rebooted itself, resumed the updates, rebooted itself, then updated again, etc.
On a clean win 7 sp1 install, it should install 80 updates, reboot and do another 80, reboot and it install the appr. 35 updates (depending on the settings) and be done.
It has been two months and seven days since the last official Simplix W7 pack. Are we still getting one for February, please?! Thanks.

Well, тестовая версия = test build. It might not be considered stable, yet (probably because of the mess MS has caused).
