Slimdown10 – turn Windows 10 22H2 or LTSC 2021 into classic/legacy Windows

    What, are you serious? After removing unnecessary languages in NTLite, your image from 3.935 is reduced to 3.349 ???

    I used SLIM,install.wim became 3.935
    then I used NTLite, install.wim became 3.349

    Was a 600mb reduction with Nlite!

    Yes, try it yourself and see the difference. I tested this and the difference was only 140 MB.

    Can someone help?

    I choose 'No' in the '' Windows Search Close? ''. Everything is perfectly working with VMware, I'm performing with VMware. But nothing works about searching in the system, '' Searchbox 'does not open, it only has a symbol. How can I overcome this problem?

    I tried it with the latest version of ntlite 2025.02.10293, for example azure arc setup, it cannot be removed because it requires a license to remove greyed out component, and also component in blue category or above.

    hi sunlion or anyone else. so i replace this filles only but wich one should i use one says TAKEOWN and other NSUDO.???

    Thank you sir, in this case I think I will stay with your script with iot LTSC 2024, I have spent a whole day to understand the script, test for many times in VM and tweak it to my preference. I am using 7.8.7 version to create a slim image and for now I think it is the best win11 I have experienced. WIll try it on real computer shortly.

    Hmm, interesting case. How does WinPE, which integrates additional utilities for Windows recovery, affect the installation of the OS? That's right, not at all. That’s why I personally always delete it to reduce the size of the image. Because personally, I don’t need it at all.
