I messed something up, canceled mid installation and mounting, now I can't delete the slimdown folder its saying I need TrustedInstaller privileges, also when I run a new slimdown command it says to use Unmountcleanup which I do and then gives same error again, how do I delete this? Also asks to select image index don't know what that means. 1 or 2

EDIT: So I copied missing files I deleted and then unmounted it works now.

Whenever an error occurs during the process, it is recommended to run the "_UnmountCleanUp.cmd" script to unmount the mounted registry and wim files.

Then close everything and clean the registry with a tool of your choice and restart the system.

Redo the process from the beginning again.

And, if the error is uncorrectable, the solution is to delete the entire folder and unzip the 24H2_Integrator_10.x package again to start from scratch.

Please, before using the script, read the README.txt file that is inside the package.

    Good luck!

If manually do it, pretty slow. (too many files)

I would run _UnmountCleanUp.cmd as SunLion said.

I did and the cmd prompt still gets stuck on the same thing, idk if it has to take this long or something else is the problem.

I liked the SFXs you created. Very good!

I would like to know if you would give your consent for them to be used together with the 24H2_Integrator script.

They would be placed in the ExtraScripts folder, for optional installation by the user after Windows is installed.

So now I am so confused, the discussion is in the original thread that has the outdated script, however in your own thread on the first page you have SD10_Renewed_1.8.7z for download, and you are linking me to the 120th page that has a 3rd thing called the integrator, why is the integrator not on the 1st page of your own thread but the SD10 Renewed 1.8? Also the integrator predownloads win 11 updates? Although I am using an win 10 IoT

This thread was started by Wkeller for Windows 10.

Then some members asked to adjust the script for Windows 11.

    So I did the following:

    - For Windows 10 I opened a new thread: SD10 Renewed

    - For Windows 11 I continued posting in this same initial thread, because I didn't want to open a new thread for this.

So now there are two scripts. One for Windows 10 (SD10_Renewed) and another for Windows 11 (24H2_Integrator).

If you want to modify Windows 10 use SD10_Renewed:
    https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/slimdown10_v2-0-2-continued.88599/

    For Windows 11 use this:

Thank you, can you tell me, since I already have an ISO from Wkeller, is there any tangible difference between the two scripts, or am I good to go to use the old slimdown ISO?

The old script is out of date.

I recommend using the new script and doing the whole process with a clean image, without modifications.

Okay I did, even though when I tried DLing all the updates keeps giving an error, so I guess I will download them after the installation, also your ISO is almost double the size of the original, i'm guessing the original had less updates on it.

To minimize apps to install, my test has shown that ClassicPaint (4 MB) alone is enough.

Take Screenshot using ALT+Print Sc, this works on any Windows, from 98 to 11. no need of Snipping.
then post and edit using ClassicPaint.

    Thanks, SunLion and dobbelina

Without SunLion's endless endeavors, this thread had been died off long time ago.

I tested the original script, it's broken because of latest MSFT hotfixes.

Sunlion's solution is an easier way to install iso with latest MSFT hotfixes. either Windows 10 or 11.

Absolutely! use as much as you want.
If you want them to be unattended, rebuild the WinRAR without a password, I added passwords for 2 reasons.
    1. Gives 1 extra step to the user so not to install by mistake
    2. Minimizes false positives by AV's

I'm fine tuning Notepad at the moment, so download that one in about 24 hours as i might update the executable.

Guys do I mount this just as usual i.e. using Rufus on a USB? Because I just used an install on a laptop and even though the script ran and made a renewed ISO file it didn't seem to do anything, the windows was the original installation, edge still there searchbar, no openshell etc.

    SunLion,
Hello, you have two applications in your APPX folder:
    Microsoft.WindowsCalculator_2021.2502.2.0_neutral_~_8wekyb3d8bbwe.Msixbundle
    Microsoft.ZuneMusic_11.2502.4.0_neutral_~_8wekyb3d8bbwe.Msixbundle
Do you have a standard application Microsoft.MediaPlayer_xxxxx.Msixbundle
    I really need ...

I don't have it, but I'll try to find it and post it here.
