Normally it look for install.wim near the boot.wim So of it able to run boot.wim I don't see any reason he can't read install.wim
Hmm, who is he, who is he looking for? In fact, the installer is looking for boot.wim, and he is looking for install.wim. Well, then everything follows the script...
Hello, I have tested the 24H2 awhile. I need some apps on 24H2. calculator, default by SunLion snipping, unavailable paint, unavailable notepad, unavailable what's an easy way to obtain them? Thanks, install MSFT store? any alternative method? I prefer NOT to use MSFT Store. I tried to download from internet. but no idea to install. the WindowsApp folder is inaccessible.

Thanks SunLion, I have tested enabling MSFT Store. and have got the apps. but it looked like opening Pandora box, MSFT also pushed XBox, , , many other apps into WindowsApp. a real headache. Hence I prefer NOT to use MSFT Store. I will try your links. that's a way I prefer. hope their install working.
I messed something up, canceled mid installation and mounting, now I can't delete the slimdown folder its saying I need TrustedInstaller privileges, also when I run a new slimdown command it says to use Unmountcleanup which I do and then gives same error again, how do I delete this? Also asks to select image index don't know what that means. 1 or 2 EDIT: So I copied missing files I deleted and then unmounted it works now.
Whenever an error occurs during the process, it is recommended to run the "_UnmountCleanUp.cmd" script to unmount the mounted registry and wim files. Then close everything and clean the registry with a tool of your choice and restart the system. Redo the process from the beginning again. And, if the error is uncorrectable, the solution is to delete the entire folder and unzip the 24H2_Integrator_10.x package again to start from scratch. Please, before using the script, read the README.txt file that is inside the package. Good luck!
I did and the cmd prompt still gets stuck on the same thing, idk if it has to take this long or something else is the problem.
I liked the SFXs you created. Very good! I would like to know if you would give your consent for them to be used together with the 24H2_Integrator script. They would be placed in the ExtraScripts folder, for optional installation by the user after Windows is installed.
So now I am so confused, the discussion is in the original thread that has the outdated script, however in your own thread on the first page you have SD10_Renewed_1.8.7z for download, and you are linking me to the 120th page that has a 3rd thing called the integrator, why is the integrator not on the 1st page of your own thread but the SD10 Renewed 1.8? Also the integrator predownloads win 11 updates? Although I am using an win 10 IoT
This thread was started by Wkeller for Windows 10. Then some members asked to adjust the script for Windows 11. So I did the following: - For Windows 10 I opened a new thread: SD10 Renewed - For Windows 11 I continued posting in this same initial thread, because I didn't want to open a new thread for this. So now there are two scripts. One for Windows 10 (SD10_Renewed) and another for Windows 11 (24H2_Integrator). If you want to modify Windows 10 use SD10_Renewed: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/slimdown10_v2-0-2-continued.88599/ For Windows 11 use this: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/slimdown10-–-turn-windows-10-22h2-or-ltsc-2021-into-classic-legacy-windows.86552/page-120#post-1872013
Thank you, can you tell me, since I already have an ISO from Wkeller, is there any tangible difference between the two scripts, or am I good to go to use the old slimdown ISO?
