Hello lads, is there a way to delete/edit the service tag of a Dell 74xx ultrabook? I hope I didn't miss an answer, couldn't find anything browsing through this thread. I tried the smmfgcfg tool, but I'm stuck with the "s2token.tbl" ("No D4 SMBIOS table found") problem. Thanks.

I had suceed! Thank you guys! I have used AMITOOL v1.63 and Slic v2.2 with help of SLIC_ToolKit_V3.2 to insert it on a 786R1115.ROM. Works like a charm!
It worked, but it's not over yet. Problem: after locking the MPM there is a SLIC 2.1 with incorrect checksum which is not valid for Windows 7 activation. I used this "feature byte" sequence: Code: 2U2V2e3E3H3Q3V3X3m3u464k5T5c5u5x676J6S6b7B7j.A3

Hello everybody, I'm trying to activate SLP marker on HP 4540s which came from factory with SUSE Linux. Due to MPM lock i'm using CH341A spi programmer. As known this notebook's bios prevents dump modification. But i've removed signature protection in SecureUpdating module and successfully applied Phoenixtool to my bios dump. As a result the notebook boots ok with the modified dump but slic table doesn't load and SLIC_Toolkit shows error. I've tried both Dynamic and Module methods in Phoenixtool but with the same result. Seems like a bios module suppresses SLIC info injected via Phoenixtool based on notebook information eg product id. Can anyone suggest the idea where the info about OS SKU and Image ID coded in HP 4540s? I know that for older HP models that was 11th and 21st digits of 25 digits PCID, but 4540s has nothing similar to this. I guess it's coded somewhere in System Configuration ID which in my case is A1018C1100, but i'm not sure. Please help if possible.
