Is 1.4.3 the final build, or will you be improving it further?

I'd like to see extra entities added for the hosts file.

By the way do you have any latest uninstall script updated on the page 11 :)

    * * * WARNING PEOPLE * * *

This is just a warning for newbies people who play with this (or like this) application. Don't get me wrong, I am very grateful to the OP who loose his time to develop and maintains the application. However this is my story.

After upgrade all my home PCs, and after test on VM machine, I decide to upgrade also my "precious" work notebook from 8.1 pro x64 to 10 Pro x64. Upgrade works perfect, and application, settings, and data was still there and working fine.
However, after removing the Telemetry service and some useless application I got several issues with login with my fingerprints. I'm not able anymore to use "Windows Hello", setup a Pin and then also to validate my M$ account to configure from scratch my fingerprints.

Obviously this could be just an isolated case, but I would like to warning people who play with Windows system files to do more tests before apply any changes. There is no way to rollback changes after apply them. So take care!!!

Now I start from scratch restoring WIndows 8 and then upgrade to 10!
Thanks True Image, you save my (work) life

fingerprint is a privacy violation... your digital fingerprint will be probably sent to microsoft server (aka NSA, aka Skynet)

    Hi guys,

I'd like to install Windows 10 x86bit on an old Dell laptop:

    • Intel Core Duo Processor T2500 at 2.0 GHz per core.
    • 15.4″ Ultrasharp SXGA+ display with TrueLife
    • 2GB DDR2 533MHz RAM in dual channel mode
    • Integrated Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950
    • 60GB 5400RPM SATA Hard Drive

I just downloaded a Windows 10 .iso and want to do a clean install through a flash drive. How do you add this telemetry .bat file to .iso? And how do I change 127.0.0.1 to 0.0.0.0? Or maybe there is anyone who can present us a quick tutorial in words, please?
    Thanks a lot...

Should have created a restore point before doing any changes. That is the first thing did before making any changes.
    Anyway thanks for the share.

I don't know off the top of my head, but use a program like Ntlite to slipstream a bat file maybe

How would you do it? Before or after a clean install? And I'd like to get rid of crap stuff that I really don't need, so the OS doesn't load to many programs. It's an old laptop...
Anyone who can do a tutorial??? Cheers

You'd have to integrate the batch file before the clean install :)

And have a look at that thread that says complete eradicate telemetry. It has this neat little too install_wim_tweak.exe that can remove apps and stuff from your ISO.

Though I haven't an idea how to use it cause I've never tried...

    You are quick to reply.

I updated my post above with my own host file. The only difference is it has a bunch of Adobe and one TuneUp-Utilities domain added. It does not contain any extra Microsoft domains. So you may not wish to add anything in it. In fact, I believe it would be best that you not. Your batch file should focus strictly on Microsoft domains.

I've been told especially at the beginning of the thread :D

Anyways... Thanks. IMO it's better to just use yours :D

Added recommendation to your host file on the first post and gave credit where necessary :)

    Thank you!

As long as you are aware that non-Microsoft domains are in it, ok. But not everyone here may approve of that.

In all honesty, I suggest sticking to Microsoft domains for the hosts file and not adding any more to your script.

If people wish to add non-Microsoft domains to their hosts file, they can do it themselves. They will see my post and do it if they wish.
