I'm not 100% sure though if it is fixed... last I tried to sync it was syncing everything, except passwords...
I have been using the April 2018 Update as of yesterday, after running Linux for a short while. In my opinion, you can use what suits your needs best, and ignore what others says about it. As long as you use whatever operating system you currently use, that's fine! Also, switching from one OS to another isn't wrong. As long as you think it is a good switch, that's what matters! But anyway, back on topic, I currently run Windows 10 April 2018 Update, and my web passwords have yet to synchronize. But I ignore that for now, as I do remember most passwords
*BUMP* I just wanted to ask the community if anybody else here experiences problems with Edge (April 2018 Update) synchronizing passwords?
*BUMP* So, I've finally (sometimes I wonder why I didn't think about it before) posted a message about this in the Windows 10 feedback hub. It says they (Microsoft) got it, so now I've just got to wait and see if they can solve it.
I am (mainly because of the passwords not synchronizing in Edge, and some other things...) back in Windows 7. Until Microsoft fixes this problem, I'll stick with Firefox Quantum on Windows 7.
Update on this issue (July 2, 2018): I even tried to install Google's browser Chrome to import the mass of my passwords from there. It imports the favorites alright, but absolutely no passwords imports at all to Microsoft Edge. I'd prefer to use Edge (and I will continue to use it. No point installing Chrome, Firefox or any other browser when Edge works just fine to browse the web). Anyway, should anyone come up with a solution to this "bug", please feel free to post your reply with the solution!
Out of nowhere… last night when I was just going to dual-boot Windows 7 and Windows 10, the synchronization in Edge just worked… I have no idea why… but it seems that Microsoft finally sort of fixed the problem. All my passwords are not back, but most of them are.
If indeed it works, then April 2018 Win10 update have fixed it Why not install free cloud based password manager as an alternative?
This really is annoying… I cannot even import passwords from Firefox into Edge. If there's any Edge users here, please do not hesitate to reply with your experience of synchronizing passwords from a new install!
*BUMP* I just wanted to know if anybody else using Edge on the April 2018 Update is experiencing this password sync issue. To me, the theme's doesn't sync, nor does the passwords. The passwords at least doesn't sync instantly.
*BUMP* Now it seems everything syncs properly in the October 2018 Update, except the theme (background picture and colors).
