After downloading Office files using Office Tool Plus, is it possible to install them using only the executable file (.exe) without using Office Tool Plus itself?
We have no intention of replacing anyone; Office Tool Plus has been under continuous development for ten years. If you are looking for new ways to deploy Office, perhaps giving it a try would be an excellent choice.
@Yerong Today I tried installing Office 365 on a customer's laptop and when I went to the Deploy tab I got this message: "Your system drive permissions are incorrect. Please contact support". But Office installed fine
I'm not sure, if possible, please provide full permissions information of system drive (usualy C partition). I will check it and find the problems.
Ok today it worked fine on another laptop. I think it might have been a probleamtic laptop that I was dealing with yesterday.
The function will check if the built-in Administrators group and SYSTEM has full access of the system drive.
I have made a custom Office 2024 Retail, ditched Lync, Onedrive, and it finishes installation, those apps aren't there, but after a reboot or some reboots, Lync, Onedrive appear out of nowhere.
After the Lync or OneDrive is appeared, what is the status of the Lync and OneDrive on the Deploy page of Office Tool Plus? Checked or unchecked?
I understand the issue, I have an student account, which grants me access to "Microsoft 365 Apps for enterprise", so Office, downloads the remaining apps owing to my license, it has nothing to do with your tool. Thanks
