1) IE8 Tweaks error = You haven't added UpdatePack (IE8 addon in x64) 2) What's wrong with .NET? It's already in UpdatePacks in x86. For x64 separate SVCPACK addon. Screenshot with problems please. No idea what you mean with "astronomical number of errors during the installation" 3) Integrating setup drivers, screenshot too, upload logs folder. Be sure you really disabled Windows Defender or any other protection software. 4) Link to DropBox doesn't work 5) EUFI build are not really supported, even there are included all needed files. For UEFI must be used Quibble, this script is unfinished too as few things on processes must be resolved 6) .7z files are small. Mostly all growing up size is caused by Drivers and WinPE packages. All is needed, so no separating. In future when we have finalized UpdatePacks will be size more bigged. One archive for everything is much better than downloading 30 files.. Post screens and logs for debugging. You can also post console output
@jiafei2427 XP2ESD ISO is designed to boot under UEFI too, depends on how you builded. You must do this on your own and not downloading unknown modded ISO It that case you still won't be able to let XP boot in pure UEFI, I haven't investigated it too much as it will probably delay release of another year. But in XP2SD are almost all files and scripts on right place. But I was never able to boot it under UEFI. No time to hassle with. I would like to finish Quibble boot as it sounds better than using beta winload.efi files P.S. We talking about x64
Thanks @Dark Dinosaur , but I don't have none session to open, I can't choose the username on the screen... EDIT : Is ok I open Admin session in mode no echec with Ctrl + Alt + Del
What you mean? How to build one ISO with all available editions, languages, license types? Just place all of ISO you want to convert into repository folder. I tested processing about 180 ISO in one run without issues. Of course, it took about 72 hours to finish P.S. Delete install.wim in XP2ESD root before you start again with more ISOs. You can also only backup it, process other ISOs and then merge it with DISM, NTLite, WinToolkit, GUIDism etc.
1) Both addons were included (IE8 Addon and IE8 Tweaks) when the error messages occured within nLite. I am talking about the default 5eraph_IE8_x64_Addon_ENU_2017-06.7z and IE8_Tweaks_addon_x64.7z that exist in the original XP2ESD_v1.6.7z file. Removing the two IE8 from the addon folder remove the error. 2) What is wrong is that during the Windows XP x64 install, a high number of error messages appear inside the command prompt that automatically install .NET from .NETAIO_x64.7z. Removing .NETAIO_x64.7z from the addon folder remove the command prompt and the error. 3) 4) The screenshot I posted is the dropbox file (the forum rules prohibits me from posting links). Please remove the space after the first / dl.dropbox.com/ s/34gfm7tdpw8fxvc/erreur.jpg?dl=0 5) Yes, as you explained earlier in the forum. 6) I understand I evaluate small with a different criteria as you. For me 800 mg is big, but it is indeed smaller than WINPE. If you prefer not to separate files, it is fine. Console output: is this in the logs folder? I am not seeking for help for solving a problem. I am merely declaring these issue to help for your development. Feel free to ignore the comments that are impertinent. @vintotal 1) Removing addons doesn't solve your issues. Problem must be somewhere else. Just upload me your logs folder 2) Well it's NGEN processing, it should be OK. In my tests final .NETs works without issues, no need to have image without needed framework for galizion apps and updates (Desktop search, Powershell etc.) 3) According to image seems like you don't have needed .NETs installed on your host I would like to find where is problem on your side And also seems like I need to add .NET installed checks for v1.6.1 to prevent XP2ESD process when they doesn't exist
That's because NLite slipstreams addons in alphabet order. You should change the name of UpdatePacks manually.
Okay, sorry. I didn't explain it well beacuse of my bad english. What I'm trying to say is, if I remember correctly, this problem is caused by slipstreaming IE8 Tweak before the UpdatePacks. I got exactly same problem at first attempt. That's why I edited the filename of UpdatePacks so that NLite slipstream UpdatePacks before IE8 Tweak.
I don't think UEFIx64 supports 32-bit windows xp.So it should not be suitable for installation under pure UEFI.
So how well does this work on newer than 3/4th gen intel cpus? (chipset drivers work at all?) Any way to dual boot with an UEFI install of windows like windows 11/10? Right now I am running windows xp/11 on a x79 platform cpu (last gen that supported windows xp 100%) if I could upgrade from that along with using larger than 2TB drives on windows 11 it would be amazing.
First of all, thanks for all your efforts; second, I attempted many times to install WXP in a i5-third Gen, HM77 Chipset, but my laptop always power downs abruptly when drivers loading completes ¿Any patch for this issue?
Yes, on UEFI64 you need to use x64 system UEFI probably not possible for now What exactly you encountered? So you builded XP2ESD image and then you got BSOD when you tried to install it? If yes, then please post picture of it.
Well. as I said, WinXP, any known version or edition, shutdowns my laptop just after setup finish drivers loading; I guess it's the same issue published in this link by another user at techspot forum (this site does not allow me to post links). I've built the XP2ESD image with a win7 and a win8.1 images, tweaked config.ini to get a WIM image and no .NET; it works fine until the installer keeps asking for a driver; I've loaded drivers IRST 11.2.0.2006 x64 but installer keeps asking for an undefined driver. With your image I don't have a BSOD issue because i cannot pass the undefined driver stage mentioned previously. Thanks in advance for your help.
