Before telling anything, i want to said i'm just a noob in computer and technology world, so i don't really understand about bios, dos, and anything, so please explain in noob way I have notebook, Toshiba NB-205, it was run fine, but one day i try to flash my bios, from the original one (idk its 1.20 or 1.60) to 2.10, the file named ll20v210.exe (it's an extractor) i load the launcher on my notebook, doing the procedures (i'm not using usb drive, floppy drive, dvd bootable etc, i just loaded it on the windows and select the launcher.exe ) then after the installation is finished, it ask me to reboot my notebook AFTER THAT. i can't enter the windows, what i got is, after "TOSHIBA" words appear, then the windows 7 loading (just the banner) then the screen is blank and restarted itself, i try to enter the windows as many as possible but it keeping me restarting. Anyone know how to repair this? maybe with Reflash (with right procedure like using usb stick?) or Reflash to v1.60 (i read it at another thread, but still didn't understand) or maybe recover my bios? i already make a bootable USB now (with my computer). and when i plug it on my notebook and choose the USB as the boot, i don't know how to run the installer, at some forum i found you must run the BAT file, but when i extract the bios (ll20v210) i didn't found any BAT file Any guide please? thanks a lot
likely acpi changed so drasticaly windows needs reinstall. to backup your files i recommend a linux live bootable with yumi usb tool from pendrivelinux.com or hirens boot cd and a spare hdd usb to put stuff in.. or on network shared pc.
not a problem about the bios?? i'm confused about the problem are the problem caused by bios or caused by windows? they said if caused by bios you may reflash your bios, but i don't know how, i stuck when entering dos mode from usb stick. if i can still backup the data, it's really a good news thanks
