Good to know, I'm going to get my friend to try the latest FF01 driver offered by alanfox (since it's the closest type that matches the driver that lenovo offered for the laptop), if this will cause problems then i'll get him to look at Lenovo's 6.0.1.8642.

Again, many thanks for all the help! :D

It's okay, the FF01 8703 drivers did the trick, and the quality's better than the ones Lenovo offered for the model.

    Many thanks, once again!

Hi guys. Can anyone help me figure out what is going on.

I have an Asrock Z370 ITX Gaming (ALC1220) board, and I have been trying to install the latest HDA and UAD driver without success.
The last working package was the one specified on the board's official Asrock site (old 8454 with Creative build).

If I install the latest HDA drivers (ex. 8730) I have no sound on my board's output jacks.
If I try to install UAD, the setup throws an error saying that none of the packages were supported.

I have even tried the build listed a few posts above for another Asrock board, that is very similar to my board's specs.
