Thanks. I've never installed Sonic studio or radar. That's fine right? Only the control panel. Another weird thing is that in the windows store, it always takes like 15 minutes of trying to click the link for me to actually get realtek control panel to download. I don't suppose there is a direct link anywhere is there?
Indeed, if you don't want use SS3/SR3, you can, but you still need the SS3 Third Party drivers contained in this drivers package because the equalizer is based on the APO of SS3, even if it is not installed. Right click on Start button > Run : ms-windows-store://pdp/?ProductId=9p2b8mcsvpln
Hi MoKiChU, So first method (first quote) )is for updating, white second method (second quote) is for first install/ fixing issues? Regarding Windows Update, will it update the audio drivers anyway even if installing your drivers? I thought so... What should prevent it to update the drivers?
@MoKiChU , regarding first installing or updating the drivers, I have from your old presence on the ASUS forums, your description of how to do so. Are these still good?? EDIT: Have updated my post to point uniquely to MoKiChu's post that has integrated now all First Install / Update procedures: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...h-definition-audio.72236/page-58#post-1579825
Still wondering if anyone has figured out why it doesn't show me the most current Realtek Driver is installed (MoKiChU) version in Armory Crate?
I Also Have ROG STRIX H270F GAMING Motherboard can i use UAD Drivers with that Board I Ask this because Asus site is not given UAD drivers to this board only HDA drivers since This Board came so i would like to know this board Safe to use dedicated mokichu UAD Drives
Hi, It is obsolete, but since you are interested, I have update it and I has integrate it into my previous and latest update post. Hi, Yes, you can go. You need Realtek Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG SS3) from my latest update post (use the CLEAN INSTALL then INSTALL process).
Hi @MoKiChU I'm a little bit confused. I have an ASUS ROG Maximus XI Hero motherboard and a long time ago I used AUDIO_Realtek_UAD_ASUS_Nahimic+SS3i_v6.0.1.8678 from you back on the ASUS forums. Am I right in thinking that I should use AUDIO_Realtek_UAD_ASUS_ROG_SS3_v6.0.8899.1 to update my driver? I just had an automatic Windows update that has ended up putting audio through my headphones even when selecting the Speakers in system tray. Many thanks for your help, glad I found you here I was starting to get really frustrated trying to figure this out.
Hi, You are using the correct drivers package (UAD - ASUS ROG SS3) but obsolete, that's why Windows Update has updated some elements of the package. Use the CLEAN INSTALL then INSTALL process from my latest update post.
I tried your drivers from your latest post and followed instructions and it worked perfectly. Thanks for this, even ASUS support page still lists very old drivers that didn't work.
Hello, I found the Realtek FTP password Best regards ...i found out These logins are for network adapters, but they are not related to audio adapters.
even after clean install, Realtek Audio Control is not installing automatically, even on manual install it is giving error Code: 0x803FB005. anybody can help?
Hi all, i'm new here so be patient with me ... so recently, preinstalled dts headphone:x app started showing "Please enable the PC speaker to use DTS audio" or "Please connect a headphone to use DTS audio".. searching around i found a solution apparently works without install anything... download latest DTS component from MyAsus app. Go to downloads & extract it. Then copy 'dtsapo3oemconfig.xml' file from 'DTS_HPXv1_UWP_APO3x_Asus_EXT_1.0.18.1_RS5' to "C:\Windows\System32\DTS\PC\APO3x" if the file's missing or simply rename it removing the "_" and the numbers. Apparently it works now. Thanks MokiChU for drivers but i don't see any link to download them.. what's wrong? Edit: I have found the link!
Hi, You need Realtek Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS PRIME-TUF DTS) from my latest update post (use the CLEAN INSTALL then INSTALL process with DTS Headphone:X v1).
