What I do (which might NOT be the wisest choice of action) so I can be able to use the UWP app and a newer driver is: - install the driver offered by my vendor, MSI - 6.0.1.8425 in this case for the UWP app to work - install UWP app, make sure it works - update to a driver that works (.8458 works in my case) A few quirks I noticed: - installing .8458 and then the UWP app is not working, not compatible bla bla, you HAVE to first install a driver that allows the UWP app on top of it - updating drivers like this is for the bored, cause I never noticed any improvements - there seem to be 2 branches of the drivers, with different file/folder structures. There are clear differences between a driver that works with UWP and a "classic" one like the .8459 above PS: - no, Nahimic requires MSi AND a motherboard with the supported chip on it, can forget about it on other brand. I have a Z370 Gaming Plus from MSI that actually got advertised that it had Nahimic and even this doesn't :\
Last WHQL HDA driver is 6.0.1.8459. See post 138 for link https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...gh-definition-audio.72236/page-7#post-1442977
Hey, I'm looking for help with some new drivers for my mobo (B150M-GAMING from Gigabyte), I can't get the equalizer and advanced options from realtek to work if I don't install a driver with MBAPO Integration. I'm looking for the newest drivers available for my mobo but I can't find anywhere. Any help should be appreciated! My Hardware ID if this helps: HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0892&SUBSYS_1458A0B3
