I have not used Corel Draw myself and so I have no idea if it will work on my system. Which version of Corel Draw are you referring to?

According to the Corel Draw system requirements , the current version (2025) requires Windows 11 (22H2 or later) or Windows 10 (22H2 or later), so it may not work with Windows 10 LTSC 2021 since it is based on Windows 10 21H2. Apparently Corel also follows Microsoft support policies when it comes to Corel Draw.

The previous version 2023 requires Windows 10 21H2 or later, so this is the version that should work with Windows 10 LTSC 2021.

been using LTSB/C since LTSB 2015/2016; I have LTSC 2021 installed on my bedroom hewlett-packard desktop pc and on an old 2007 Dell Inspiron laptop and they've been running well

haven't tested Win11 LTSC 2024 yet since those old PCs I'm using don't use cpus with sse4.2 support

Been using LTSC for almost 10 years now (first to escape the awful home-pro non stopping updates and not to escape windows 11 bloataregate) and never had any problems. The os runs as its supposed to: run you programs and files and not being in your way plus 10 years of security patches.

These versions make it seem like the days of windows xp and 7 again. pure bliss.

FlashBoot Pro has modernized. He's now offering comprehensive options for blocking telemetry and bloat in Win 10/11. It seems like such a utility may be the key to really enjoying 10/11.

I'll chime in and offer I've used Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2021 in production environments (Audio Post Production), for gaming, enterprise applications, and home office applications interchangeably with Windows 10 Pro for Workstations, without a hitch. Functionally there's no difference between it and other Windows 10 SKUs in terms of driver or application compatibility that I've encountered or even read about -- and I read a lot...

The only differences I've been able to ascertain is the IoT Enterprise LTSC 2021 and the Workstation editions have a few administrative utilities not found in the consumer SKUs, and earlier builds of these two SKUs rolled with less crap and shovelware -- though that's since changed with updates in the last three years, and of course LTSC will still be supported.

With the steaming hot, reeking, user hostile mess that Windows 11 has become, loaded top to bottom with industrial spy and malware, a level of monitoring and telemetry processing i/o that rivals your applications for resource utilization that can't even be monitored as this is now opaque even to an Administrative account should be 'Game Over' for anyone with any sense of self-preservation, and I'm not being histrionic about that in the least...

There's just too much easy money being extracted hijacking and selling your data through Windows 11 'Experiences™' -- yes they even trademarked this abomination which is hilarious as it is ugly as it's not a feature with any benefits to you; having your data extracted, collated, and concatenated completely at your expense (you even pay for the processing and energy cost) is now a Windows 11 'Experience' -- one Microsoft (and its Partners™) make more money from than all Windows sales and licensure, and more money just from your data alone than you'll earn in your entire life... Choke on that if you choose to...

With enormous incentives like these -- no one with any common sense will want any of their personal data on a Windows 11™ system... While Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2021 is heavily compromised as well in terms of privacy and security; it still has some of Microsoft's original design intent for a modular configurable OS and there are enough third party tools here on MDL and elsewhere that buy time for those that don't want to march into the Corporate/Government human macerator...

THIS...right here! I like the way you think. For me, even Windows 10 LTSC IoT is too bloated and intrusive, but I am able to reign it in just enough to be tolerable (on the ISO before installing). It will absolutely be my last M$ product though, unless something crazy happens and Windows 12+ totally flips back to less intrusive, hostile, ways with full control restored to the user. We all know that is not going to happen though, so I've had Debian Linux dual booting for years now in preparation. It's not perfect, but I'd much rather give up the few Windows games or programs that don't run or don't run well on it than use the spaghetti coded bloatware, spying, data harvesting, malware trash M$ is putting out now.

Agree with what you're saying here in spades -- you might like to take a look at what goes on in the Slimdown10 thread here for some of the recitation on getting more poop out of Windows 10 (lots of tools & tweaks discussed) as well as an interesting Microsoft reveal regarding Windows 'Experiences', that's not pretty...

Fortunately we have about seven years of support with what remains Microsoft's last real Operating Systems: Windows 10 IoT LTSC and Windows Server -- after that, and possibly sooner as Microsoft keeps trying to slip 'Prison Sex Experiences' into Windows 10 with updates; it's beyond certainty that not just all bets are off, it's game over for anyone concerned about privacy and security.

Unfortunately as you point out even Windows 10 IoT is bloated way and well beyond just being an Operating System, and a lot of that those feature are virtually immutable because Microsoft loves foisting 'Experiences' (features with no benefits to anyone but Microsoft and it's Partners) on its Customers.

I suppose with a radical change in management Microsoft could regain some of what is now eroding trust as people become more aware of what a profound liability Microsoft Windows has become. As well where things stand Microsoft has to be just one data breach away from a crisis level event with all the private information they're harvesting and reselling -- and that would seal the deal forever.

If that happened virtually the only way back would be abandoning or FOSSing all the Windows source but even that would take a very long time before there was a properly audited build of a truly secure FOSS Windows release. Considering the grotesquely cynical and ugly approach Microsoft is openly taking with it's operating systems and the talent absent the company -- any optimism or even hope for the future of Windows seems very misplaced...and that makes me sad.

Yep. I liked the original Slimdown 10 (custom tweaked to my liking), but that "Continued" version has made too many changes for my liking. I used a combination of that and MSMG Toolkit to get a nice clean ISO for quite a while. Now I've just gone to LTSC IoT with MSMG to add a few custom things like wallpapers, HOSTS file, fonts, and mainboard and network drivers + hours of nuking M$ garbage after install via gpedit.msc, services, task scheduler, etc. etc.

I also completely remove Edge, Webview with a script, and the entire "Experience pack" from my installs via:

    PowerShell:
    Code:
    Get-WindowsPackage -Online -PackageName *UserExperience* | Remove-WindowsPackage -Online

Of course, after every update, you have to run through a massive check list of everything again to see if they've reinstalled, or turned things back on as they love to do.

I'm using Windows 10 LTSC on one custom machine for hardware diagnostics, backing up data from broken HDD's/SSD's and running VMs with various OS. It's working flawlessly after further debloating already debloated OS. I'm planning to put a new SSD in January and then will install IoT variant.

Also, I plan to assemble a gaming rig until the end of next year and to dualboot Windows 10 IoT LTSC and Windows 11 Enterprise (25H2 or the next one, I'm still unsure). I will play games released to app. 2023 or 2024 on Win10, while newer ones will run on Win11.

AMD CPU and NVIDIA GPU combo (Currently considering Ryzen 7 9800X3D and RTX 4070 Ti SUPER).

    How many processes?

    I'm on 10 21H2 LTSC with 120-145 processes.

my opinion about a OS is to have the minimum apps and process..Only operating system and I can install myself what I need..I don't need copilot, drive..and all the bloats M$ put inside..
EOL of 22H2 Entreprise with ESU is 2028..less than LTSC 2021 but quite good...

It's a freshly install system with nothing else install, but you can see the base of his running process
