What happens when BIOS doesn't have SLIC 2.1 table inside?

    Nothing will happen. You can try to install the key and cert but no luck slic2.1 is required to activate Win7 as OEM

    Thanks for the fast reply. Will you get an error message or will it just allow you to load the certificate, enter the product key, accept them but the product still remain unactivated? I ran the hard disk with an existing activated version of Windows 7 Ultimate on the new motherboard and it allowed me to load an Asus certificate plus an Asus OEM product key. However, it remained unactivated. Gave me 14 days to do so.

    After you have applied the certificate and key you have converted your W7 installation to OEM_SLP license....it will not activate since the third part (SLIC) is missing...you'll lose time to activate (30 days original)...no error will occur anyway.....
