donbdl: Defender updates and MSRT are not included in the lists here, sorry. And those updates you listed for Windows 10 are cumulative, meaning only the latest is needed to have all previous fixes. That Flash update is already in the lists. Thank you for your suggestions though.
Those are not considered hotfixes (.cab or .msu and therefor can not be integrated by dism (they are exe).
For Some reason WHdownloader not downloading update List. ( In firewall rule is set let WHdownloader to access internet is there problem with server of update list )
The lists are stored on Dropbox.com so make sure you can download from there. And to download them, click on the box with the arrow in the upper-left corner.
Does anyone know where I can get the Office 2016 list of updates to use with WHDownloader? Thank you.
vze2mp9g: Yes, you could use that script to extract the .MSP files. That script is from MDL member hearywarlot: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/batch-extract-and-prepare-office-msp-files.64028/ Or you could right-click at the bottom of WHDownloader and select "Office MSP extractor" and use it to extract them. Or you could modify the config.ini file as was suggested above. That would extract them automatically as they're downloaded.
Thank you. I would have never known those hidden tools in the WHDownloader. This is what I like about MDLF, people helping people. One last question, if it's not too hard. When I get updates for Windows 10, where would I put the MSP updates (which folder)?
MSP = office updates (Not windows) WHD puts all updates in their own folders, windows 10 14393 x64 in it's own folder, 15063 x86 in its own folder, office 2016 x86 in its own folder, etcetc...
I think you didn't under stand. Where on Windows 10 INSTALLATION disk would I put the Windows 10 update files so when you go to install Windows 10, it will auto install the updates before quitting? Office 2016 Office 2016\updates " Any patches placed in this folder will be applied during initial install." Thank You
You don't understand how this works. WHD only downloads the updates, to integrate them you need knowledge on how to use dism (windows updates) or the correct tools. For Win 7, 8 online/offline and office online integration of the updates: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/whdownloader-support-and-chat.44645/page-108#post-1296720 windows 10 updates integration scripts look here: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/windows-10-hotfix-repository.57050/page-105#post-1216064
Put the .MSP files in the Updates folder of your Office install .iso. The updates will be automatically applied when you install Office if they are in that folder. If you already have Office installed and just want to install the latest Office updates, use abbodi1406's InstallerOffice 14.d script: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/abbodi1406s-batch-scripts-repo.74197/
