I did again and this time it worked. After Patcher it showed me only Defender Update. It is so wild.
Anyway, thank again! Saved me day once again more. Keep up the work, love it.

    Update:
Oh wait. I see whats wrong. At enterprise its all how it should be.
But When I install home premium, it shows me the updates then, even after patcher.

Ahh whatever.. I let it be now. Enterprise is only I use anyway.

Is there an extensive list of WinPE/WinRE Updates for Windows 8.1 ? Or is KB3054290 and KB3084905-v2 really all that's required ?

Is it useless to add other WinPE compatible updates and hotfixes?
Hotfix KB3004544 is WinPE compatible for example?

The idea is that only use updates that contain components which are exclusive to WinPE or affect main routines (boot/setup/recovery)

unless you intend to use WinPE as portable or recovery, it's not very useful to add all applicable updates, monthly rollup should be enough

Hi abbodi1406, I am studying your Script Repo one by one. To me, it is a bit like Alibaba's treasure.
Regarding WHD-Windows7-Updates-Installer v6.8 (WHD-W7UI.cmd and WHD-W7UI_WithoutKB3125574.cmd) in https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/whdownloader-support-and-chat.44645/page-108#post-1296720, I can basically understand it, but there are some things I don't understand:
    1. Why do you use dism /Apply-Unattend:stage.xml with dism /Apply-Unattend:install.xml to integrate ESU updates in 2 stages, instead of dism /Add-Package like other updates.
    2. Why do you emphasize putting KB3125574 at the end in the Main solution?
    3. Which categories in the Legacy solution are unnecessary? (To be clear, I mean the unnecessary ones when the Legacy solution implements almost the same options or functions as the Main solution). I tried to figure it out by comparing it with the Main solution, but I was completely confused by more than 600 files.
Thanks again for your excellent tools and enthusiastic help.

    @Tang Hua
    Hi

    1. Without ESU Suppressor (was added much later), that's the only way to install ESU updates
stage components > modify registry > install

    2. Because it updates many features packs (i.e. those must be added first to get updated components from KB3125574)

    3. Most "Extra" updates are unnecessary, except "WithoutKB3125574"
    see Extra-Updates-Info.txt
