Hi ianymaty, thanks for reporting the issue i found the problem and is now fixed for v6.2. I am open to all suggestions to improve WHD, im just a little confused as to the EXE to MSP problem (There was no demand there) ?
v6.2? There is already v6.5 available for download. I'm confused too. What do you exactly fixed? There was no demand there was refering to your statement in post #1027 where you say "All these demands from members with not so much as a please!!" Are you confused by the words that I used (I want) or by the problem itself? Let me know and I try to make things clear.
6.2 (my mind was on another app ive been updating) sorry for confusion. Demands from members all the time.. add this add that (does get annoying as i never intended this to become a tool) would rather it was still just a simple downloader. Edit: Am i detecting a little sarcasm/rudeness ? Update:

Not my intention. Sorry if you see it that way. Maybe the language barrier. See, english is not my native language. Now let's move to useful things: Mostly these are all cosmetic issues. When download Office updates, the Downloader size is different from the Downloaded size. Not a big problem, just wonder why is this happening. Also, if click on Search Supersedded button, this prompt comes up mentioning "No downloaded Windows updates found!" while the Office list is active. View attachment 27175 Instead when Windows updates list is active and click on Search Supersedded button this prompt comes up. View attachment 27177 Sorry, but I have to bug you again with the EXE to MSP. Maybe this time you'll understand better. When using the tool to extract, the program creates the folder "Office MSP's". Say I want to extract them directly to Office2013-x86_InstallPack\Updates I'll end up with Office2013-x86_InstallPack\Updates\Office MSP's. It would be better to not force the program to create the folder "Office MSP's". Thank you.
The size in Downloader tab is read from manually-set sizes in the list, which are not byte-accurate, they are set approximately for easying while in Downloaded tab, size is calculated directly from actual files
Hey Alpha, you may have missed this but is this possible? Also for office msp extraction if i've set my lang to en-us, all of it's fine except i see proof-fr-fr.msp & proof-es-es.msp in the directories, Is it intentional (as in we need it) or is it there by mistaken error? Using v6.6 Also with regards to the post above putting a "~" in front to signify approximate would be a good idea, and clears up confusion
Yes i was just hoping for an explanation why, even if its just minimise and not to the system tray would be nice. I understood it previously when he has the pause button implemented because it wouldn't work as the app needed to keep focus for the button to work, but since has been removed, and the focus thing has been fixed to. Yes i read his post and understand his frustration, he's done awesome work and his re design of the whole app is excellent, he's done a lot of work as a well as the others who've worked on this project since the 4x versions. They deserve a lot of praise for it, he's changed small downloader into a must have toolbox which i know wasn't his intention, but he's made done such a great job, it's replaced quite a few apps that one would previously have to use. @abbodi1406 Thanks for that. I thought it might be a silly ms thing. seems a bit odd to have certain companion languages.
Thank you again for the software. I need some advice. I downloaded all the updates for windows 8.1 64Bit. integrated it, created a bootable iso used Rufus copy tool and copied all the files to USB stick But now here is the problem. when i am done installing the operating system all looks fine but when i do a update it find the following update and want to install it. Windows8.1-KB2887595 But if i do a scan for the update i find it on the downloaded software. Why does it not get installed with the operating system is installed. Thanks for the help..
How did you start it? Getting this when starting Daz Loader (uses same check) from Total Commander, whereas when starting it from Win Explorer all is good .
