Ahhh thank you very much! Strange, i remember my last compare result difference hashes, now are the same... BTW: abdobi1406 have you any donate-options for your project or personal case? You help so much and i wanna also help and make sure that this beautiful databases stay alive.
Nope, i does it for fun however, none of my work or databases could come to life without Alphawaves' outstanding implementation of the lists and continuous development
Thanks shamu726, ive now fixed those issues. KBArticle link will only work in downloader tab. Ill look at your suggestions.. Thanks again..
Hi Alphawaves Thanks for the new update, very nice indeed. But I have to report a possible bug on the downloader side of things, I downloaded all the updates that showed up but one refuses to stay put. It downloads but after when you close the program and ope it again the update is there again for downloading. Same thing happens if you choose the list again after downloading all updates. View attachment 27520 Could you please look into it? Thanks cgp
Yes, like Windows updates Office updates are universal language wise. If updates to language files are required then they are included in the updates. For instance, for Office 2013, Microsoft have just released an update for Outlook. For the x64 version, the update to the outlook program is outlook-x-none.msp (around 25MB of the size), which is contained within the download outlookloc2013-kb2863911-fullfile-x64-glb.exe. The Spanish specific file is outlookintl-es-es.msp (around 1.8MB of the size). The rest of the size of outlookloc2013-kb2863911-fullfile-x64-glb.exe is (almost all) due to the other language specific files. In general, only a few updates require updating the language files. When you install the .exe file, it automatically updates the the correct language for you.
If i have these settings ticked for office 2010/2013 Is it still able to use the superseded function. If so it doesn't seem to be working: View attachment 27521 View attachment 27522
Sorry, looks like the download link is dead atm. EDIT: Link now fixed by abbodi.. No, superseded check in WHD is for Windows only atm.
Thanks a lot for the info. Indeed, I had some doubts about office updates languages since I've never worked with them manually before. And I say manually because I want to use this WHD tool in order to integrate updates on top of an Office 2010 SP2 Integrated installation disc. Hopefully I'll get no issues performing this integration.
