would be sweet if there was a option in settings to "multi thread downloads" it will greatly speed up downloading

Yep this is actually about WHD and not Office

Using WHDv7 Everytime I opened it it told me that a new Win7x64 update list was available. I tried to download 3 times including closing and re-opening WHD but it kept telling me the same thing. I decided to delete the 2 lists I had and redownload them but the message never goes away.

Also even though I have all the Office downloads (big surprise lol) the downloader tab shows none in green and the download tab shows 0
I cant say about the Win7 because I hadn't downloaded anything

    Suggestion for Alpha:

It came to me that the most viewed threads are the ones that have programs that are easy to use and perfect for newbies. For example, Daz's Windows Loader is by far the most viewed and used followed by Cody's Microsoft Toolkit. Their functions are straight forward, usually involving a single mouse click to get a desired result.

The only downfall to your tool is the lack of step-by-step instructions on how it works with examples given. Newbies curious about it possibly understand the concept and know what WHD may do, but they may be scared to give it a try in case they mess something up. Or maybe they don't have the tools (DVD burner, blank DVD, burning software, Windows/Office ISO files) to get started, or they don't know where to get the tools they need.

I propose something be done about this. WHD should get more attention than it does, but newbies to the program need guidance and help to get started so that they have the confidence to make use out of WHD. One solution would be to make a forum just for WHD, just as Daz has, with a similar layout; one topic with the link to the program (the first post of this thread) as an announcement and locked, one topic (a FAQ) stating what hardware and software is required along with examples and instructions given on various situations on how WHD works and what it does as an announcement and locked, and one topic for discussions and help (post 2 of this thread and onward).

P.S. The FAQ can and should get revised over time to be as simple to understand as possible. But it should also be loaded with information given on how to use every feature of your program.

    Thoughts, Alpha?

Using WHD to download updates of office 2013 and have a a question which may be stupid :p
I have downloaded some EXE files and WHD extracted msp files from them. Assume in February office had an update for Microsoft word and in March another update come up for word which should be replaced by previous one. Does WHD do that or keep both of them in EXE folder and msp folder.
In total I mean that is there anything to do by me or just update every month and copy whatever is in the msp folder into the update folder of office image?
    Thanks

Would be nice, although atm i have some health issues which are really depressing me. :(
If i get well soon i will spend the needed time and effort in order to produce a 'Step by Step' with illustrations..
Until then i can only bring myself round to doing the odd update..

    I almost missed this post.

I'm sorry to hear about your health issues. I hope you get better soon. In life, you're always #1 and should treat yourself as such. Everyone else comes second. If you're not happy, you can't be happy for others. Do take care.

Remember, you have a whole army here to help out with the "step by step" stuff. ;) Your great program deserves more exposure so that the world can appreciate your hard work. I think this is the way to do it. But no rush.

Pardon my ignorance, but can anyone explain to me, if, why, and how this is better than WSUS offline?
