I forgot, sorry. I didn't mean to discredit your work. Good additions in 7.4. *Edit* Question: Is there any consequences for removing the ei.cfg file from the \sources\ folder in the ISO from any of the Windows 7 SP1 x64 Media Refresh editions? For example, using WHD, the program will ask which edition I would like to create prior to integrating the updates. If the ei.cfg is gone, will I be able to select any edition in WHD I want with the updates downloaded to be integrated properly integrated and applied after installation? The reason I ask is because presently I just have an older Windows 7 SP1 x64 Ultimate copy and have found that selecting "Professional" does integrate the updates (or appears to), but they don't seem to get applied (as I've explined recenly in another post here). Would everything integrate properly into any of the Windows 7 x64 Media Refresh editions after the ei.cfg file is removed, allowing me to select whichever version of Windows 7 x64 that I want using WHD, or will the updates get integrated but not appear to be applied if I don't select the version of Windows 7 that it was prior to removing the ei.cfg file? ^ May confuse some people. To those that understand what I mean, I hope I explained myself well enough.
Seems I'm suddenly seeing this option everywhere nowadays. My thought is why even bother with this option? Just have BIOS + UEFI as default. The EFI stuff is what, 20mb?
Exactly. I need either a different download source or a different method of downloading them that will work (100%, not 99.9%).
I don't understand why your downloads are stopping at 99.9% no one else is having problems with those links you could try JDownloader you can resume downloads with that. Also do you need Home Premium x64, Professional x64 and Ultimate x64 why not just download Ultimate and remove ei.cfg file.
Ive just downloaded Professional x64 (English) via WHD, deleted ei.cfg. Images = HOMEBASIC/HOMEPREMIUM/PROFESSIONAL/ULTIMATE.. Downloaded fine here..
Seeing people downloading all the "different" version makes me always smile, as they will have identic install media with only different ei.cfg on them .
Just noticed this: So either temporary problems or they are starting to pull the links. My guess is option one. If they started pulling the links then you would not even get partial downloads.
