Nah i you not understand, here 2 ways to get all files:
    1. One by One - successively: In this scenario you have to start and choose every download categorie after the last was finished.
    2. Parallel - simultaneously: In this scenario you have to start multi instants of it and download all categories simultaneously.
Sure: the Download time is the same, but with the second szenario you save time to start another download.
You can start all simultaneously and can go back and make other things in the same time.
At one by one, you have to stay and look for that download is finished and have to start another.
I hope its clear what i mean, sorry for my crappy english you know...

Yea, its a request, a wish, i miss it and wish it back. :)
I remember this time where it was possible, so good would be an option for that.
Its sure that much peoples dont need or should not use, so i say its on own risk.
(You can include a parameter for execution that ignore existing instant exe.)

    greez

    PS:
    Yea, me too.
I love beta, ... and also ubuntu btw. ;)

In that case the program just needed something like a queue, you put your requests into the queue and they will be processed one by one, without further interaction.

alpha, is whd doesn't support resume download for the hotfix? I found that when whd download large hotfix (an example kb2919355 for windows 8.1) then the electricity going off in the middle of download, and when the electricity is on, I turn on the computer again and check that somehow it skipped and proceed to the next hotfix in the list even it's not completed (the list itself mark that as completed).

could u add the resume support since microsoft server itself provide multi chunk for downloading? thx

If power went off during the download process I would want to download it again from scratch so to ensure that it isn't corrupt. You would hate to find out that after integrating into iso and doing a install that is corrupt. Just my two cents. o_O

Queue is added with a max number of simultaneous downloads (Options), im not happy with the look of the download progress..
I may add a new download view and add progress bar / percentage in list of current downloads..:D

@ar_seven_am ill add a function for any broken downloads to compare file size, if no match it will re-download the update. :)

Dear Alpha please always remember: don't feel forced by those demands. Equal what you do, some will demand more and more and more ... :g:.

Agreed. Just by reading its name we accurately know what the program does and imao it should be kept with the relevant features only, there are other specialized tools for the requested purposes.

I'm sorry alpha, for the queue download, u need to know that microsoft server itself limit only 4 simultaneous download at once (not sure if we patch tcp/ip file but I dont think it have any effect since it related to the server, not from our computer, right?) to user.
I think what do u mean with the queue download is adding schedule list downloading (an example first download windows 7 list second windows 8 list automatically?)

As for my request (u dont need to add that if u dont want to, I dont mind, I can use free download manager software to resume the broken download but u need to use resume in advanced option for new download) that's becuz :
    1. We can save some time if we have bad internet connection (especially in dial up connection since it depend on the ISP signal receiver) as we dont need to start over at first.
    2. As long the server provide multi chunk, the file will not corrupt if we resume the download. (default wget have this ability, u use wget, right?)

It's only my suggestion, thx in advance.

PS : please correct me if I'm wrong...

Well my download manager has now gone out the window, it just wont work 100% with the extraction needed in WHD updates. :(
Not bothered too much about that, i always preferred the single file downloader as it gives no corrupt updates (when extraction is needed) as appose to the new multi threaded segment downloader..:eek:
So please no more multi requests (WHD will give corrupt downloads) ive just wasted almost a week working on this. My own fault, i should have remembered about the extraction needed. :roflmao:
    Back to work..:tea:

I remember the time where works to multi-openeing WHD-exe-instant.
Without any errors or anything else.. i dont understand why work on GUI.

Its much easier and it works fine with just multi-start-able exe.

Note about the queue, I didn't mention anything about multiple downloads, just giving download orders in advance that are processed one by one (since someone mentioned having to babysit WHD...). And it was a proposal only.
