I wonder what the telemetry amounts to in Windows 10 if all the internet activity one does is visit porn sites.

Basic telemetry is of technical nature, so, I'd say: No more and no less than without pr0n.

Unless there is a specific program that you use for it, they won't know. They take screenshots every time you start a program and they send basic file info data about programs you run.
That being said, the DNS server for your ISP knows full and well which sites you visit.

    Absolute Madman!
Whenever I google / youtube / facebook etc in different locations I lose a bit of hope in humanity looking at what other people near me have searched/watched/liked, so I agree!

I do my everyday business on Linux Mint, and use a vpn (pia), though I just bought a dell laptop with win 10 home. I have only been online with it a few times, but haven t really used it for anything sensitive like logging into a bank or cc company website. I m trying decide if I actually want this thing considering all I ve read on this forum. I am considering never connecting to the internet with this thing. If I never connected I imagine that windows would demand it at some point. And if I did connect just give m$ pron telemetry. I did install pia on it, but at this point I m not even sure it would help all that much.

Some people access questionable stuff, illegal in some countries and you can not exactly email police asking, if it is legal. Microsoft is known to have helped police to arrest people for files stored in theirs private onedrive and MS admitted to actively search for file names/pictures, that might suggest illegal stuff. These days, you can end up in jail even for spreading "hoaxes" about covid, so OP's concerns are understandable. I just use TOR unpacked in RAM and then remove it. :mushy:

Use YogaDNS with a DNScrypt server.

Yeah, of course the ISP logs the ip addresses you connect to. They would still know if you were connected to a porn site unless you were using a VPN.
In that case, the VPN would know you were connecting to a porn site. There are some who claim that they delete the logs permanently after 2 weeks, but I very much doubt that they actually do.
There isn't really anything you can do on the internet that is completely anonymous. Even Tor could be regulated by governments.
The fact is that if people don't want to let anyone know that they view porn on the internet, they need to avoid viewing porn on the internet.
