what i want to know if windows update is going to offer me the 22h2 update by itself or given that the configuration is not supported i will have to redo an modified iso to do the update myself
Nobody got Win 11 22H2 offered atm. I run a 100% supported Win 11 21H2 and no 22H2 on WU. When it will be offered on WU on unsupported systems, WU will show you the tpm requirement message at around 6-8% downloading, for WU to be able to install/bypass the checks you can use TPM Skip by @AveYo. You can always upgrade by using a fixed 2262x ISO (option 2).
so you confirm me my pencer absolutely must create a modified iso to make my update i will not have it otherwise
Considering nobody got the feature update offered on WU at the moment. To be able to upgrade by ISO either run the mentioned script and mount/extract the 2262x ISO and run setup.exe, or fix a 2262x ISO (option 2), then no need to run the TPM Bypass script, and upgrade by mounting or extracting it and run setup.exe.
i find where the iso on uup i can't find them or i download the one from the microsoft tool and change it with the option 2 program
I am not going to create a tool for bootable USB creation, for me simply formatting FAT32 usb keys works.
I propose it as an additional option to add to the tools as everything is done at once iso and creation of the key avoids the use of third-party software
Yeh, I am waiting to see what happens to my unsupported system. My problem is I have that bug that greys out saved settings if I use an ISO. Wanting to see if I can get the update to 22H2 (and keep my settings), BUT if not then I have the FIXED iso ready to go. Yes - I am aware I could use the backup feature of One-Drive to do this, and may do so, --- I just dont like sharing that info with M$
I recently installed 19045.2075 Home x64 on a 12th gen Lenovo ThinkPad and running WU resulted in a rectangular banner offering to upgrade to 11 22H2 or say on 10.
So 12th gen is first in line it seems, i have a 11th gen system and running on 22000.1042, nothing offered, 2 year ago and last year i provided some people with 10th gen and 11th gen laptops but they still don't get Win 11 22H2 offered on their hardware.
Latest 22000 build. Ryzen 3900X PC, hardware all supported. Was offered inside a banner on WU. Note that the WU icon in the Systray said "New updates available", so, it was actively advertised and not optional in the background. Maybe they do start with Win11 users.
You can use this script https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...secure-boot-bios-install-wim-over-4-gb.79268/ tu create your usb disk.
Hello. I want to install win 11 on hardware that doesn't meet the minimum requirement without touching the original iso file. Also I don't want rufus to change writing the original iso to the usb flash drive by removing the minimum requirement. What should I do at boot time? Thank you in advance.
Why not just run the ISO with the tool of this thread, use the created ISO and install it on your unsupported system? The original ISO won't be touched.
