I updated the script. Now the "fixed" iso is created in the same folder as the original iso and not in the script directory.
tried this tool . but i got stuck at connect to a network. it shows ethernet not connected. how to bypass this too.? used option 1 on windows 11 iso.?
This tool only bypasses the minimum system requirements, for your problem check this: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...t-on-win-11-home-sl.84109/page-3#post-1737930
I am assuming this is on the install, so when at network details use: SHIFT+F10 and enter: Code: oobe\bypassnro And you will be able to skip not being connected and get the offline account offered instantly.
This works great. Well, its installing so I assume its going to finish. Thanks a ton for this file.. thanks a ton for the easy instructions.
What's the advantage of using this kit instead of Rufus which can also deal with the online account requirement?
This doesn't deal with the online account requirements because that is totally unneeded (and not boot or upgrade related) for all SKUs except Home(SL), and this also works for upgrades, a bootable usb is not needed then + this tool offers all options including the old boot.wim registry mods.
I am unable to get Win 11 Pro 23H2 2506 to install. I get as far as it saying "Making Sure Your Ready To Install" window. I am trying to install from within Windows 11 Pro 22H2 2428. I have disabled the internet as well and disabled Windows Defender. I rebooted and tried a 2nd time with same results. Any ideas? Should I have the internet connected? Last time I did connected I had problems I remember and was told to disconnect when upgrading from within Windows. Thanks.
That's what I got when I used Fixkit option 1 in some configurations. It endlessly circled and eventually stalled. You should give Fixkit option 3 a try. Works for me for any but the very latest (25xxx) builds. Good advice for everyone attempting to install modern Win11 on older hardware: First, boot from the created media, even if you want to upgrade. If the media won't boot (stopping at the logo with no spinning circle), do not bother with the upgrade at all, as the result will be the same after the first reboot.
Why so many mess in Windows 11? More the time passes, Microsoft making things worse and worse... I can't understand it...
Microsoft discovered that the setup.exe /product server command could bypass the installation restrictions for non compatible PCs and patched the setup program. I guess that option 1 works the same way and hence no longer works; that's why option 3 could be a better choice for the Fixkit.
So if I'm doing clean installs should I also use option 3 now when making the bootable media? Or only for an upgrade from within windows
Option 3 works for clean installs and upgrade. But this is not the correct thread; better to go here : Win 11 Boot And Upgrade FiX KiT | My Digital Life Forums
This is new method to use since MS squashed old. Mount image: open command prompt at mounted image. enter: ?:\>setupprep /product server (? being the mounted drive) OS will load as Server edition.
