    Should I select "Add 22621 Autorun.dll to 26100 (And higher)" for Windows 11 Enterprise LTSC 2024 26100.1742?

    I understand it this way
    5.1f
Added code to skip the adding of the 22621 autorun.dll when the source iso is not 26100 or later.
Did some rewording to make sure people see that adding the 22621 autorun.dll is only meant for 26100 or later builds. So yes you should do that.

Not related to this tool, i never claimed it would fix the sse4.2 requirement, at some point an ancient system will not be able to run the latest windows builds..

When you have fixed the ISO with option 1, then keep the install offline and mount/unpack the ISO to a folder and run setup.exe.

When you have used option 2a to fix the ISO then mount/extact the ISO and run the 24H2 upgrade script from the ISO first and next you can run setup.exe.

Thanks both for quick answer.... I completed the procedure without major problems.. now my notebook it's correctly update to 11 24h2.

    I do exactly this:
    -Copyed the iso on Source\Win11..
    -Execute the bat with admin
-I have leave activated all default option..... the option 1 and 6,7,8 and 9. Press 0 to start process...

After about some minutes i have obtain another iso called "26100.2605.241206-2009.GE_RELEASE_SVC_PROD1_CLIENTMULTI_X64FRE_IT-IT_FIXED_2024_12_17.iso"

At this point i have extracted it with Winrar and executed directly the setup.exe from that....
During the very first screen i have select for no update download... i select "no for now".
For remain safe i have also enable the aeroplane mode on windows 11 and disconnect notebook from my home wireless.

Entire procedure during about one or two hours.... i'm leave my home at about 19pm (italy zone) come back home at about 21pm and my notebook it's correctly boot on newest windows 11..

At this point the question it's... it seems that everything went well. but did I have to fix the original iso with two different procedures? With option 1 and then again a second time with option 2a?

It seems this needs to be explained more than one time:

Ok and this is clear... so.... right now i have also made a fixed iso whit option 2a and 2b..... at this point if i understand correct the fixed iso whit option 1 can be used for update and clean install. on update it's need to be maintain pc offline.

So at today it's a great solution use the option 2a and 2b how 2b place a .cmd on same path on setup.exe. You need to execute this .cmd before use the setup.exe and you can also made update whit pc connected on internet.

Great....and the iso fixed whit option 2a and 2b it's also can be used to made a clean install...... problably it's ever need to use Rufus to flash the iso on a USB Pendrive...

    Thanks for usefull explanation...

It only needs to be online when setup and once the upgrade is running, all can go online again.

That is possible but not needed, just mount the ISO and first run the cmd and next run setup.exe.

He only said that it will work, just not through this tool alone, as its outside the scope of the Fix Kit. You use the Fix Kit to disable requirements checks, then use one of the known methods (like WinNTSetup) to get Windows 11 onto any fairly recent device using MBR.

Since 5.1, there is an option to automatically launch the old version of Setup, which should still be able to do the partitioning. But even without that option, there is still a link to the previous Setup version very early in the Setup process.
