Hi Guys, quick question. I have a windows 10 machine with the latest updates (as of oct) that I have been tryign to do an in place win 11 upgrade. I have tried this countless times over the weekend but no luck. It goes thru the upgrade process, then in the end failed on "2nd boot". (0xC1900101 - 0x40017). The logs don't show anything other than a service failed to stop.

This is on a x299 mark i MB which I know supports win 11. I have removed several pieces of sw etc, changed drivers, no luck.

Would this tool assist in this?

Any help or guidance would be appreciated...

    TIA!

This tool skips the requirements at (upgrade) setup, when that is passed then the tool did its job.

As long as it supports sse4.2.

That will probably be a rejected core i cpu.

ps, did a small edit to the info.

I meet an issue, when I select an ISO file, then it says no ISO detected. (Yes of course I put the ISO in source folder). The last version without this was v5.1f.

Can you show a screenshot, i would like to see what opens?

There is a solution, set this "Select_ISO=yes" to "Select_ISO=", then the ISO in the source_iso folder will be used by default.

Have not used Win 11 Boot And Upgrade FiX KiT for some time. Then ver. 4.0 option 1. Now my usb stick is faulty so I tried newest ver. 6.
Downloaded, unpacked and statrted. But during "installing" the progress bar locked up at 100 %. Maybe som AV blocked it. I was very
happy with ver. 4.0, but cannot find a download link for it. Can some heøp me with a download link ?

Best to show the full progress to see what could have happened and on what stage it hangs.

    But:

That means the tool ran fine and you were able to proceed after the sku selection at setup, then it is no longer in the scope of the tool.

downloaded ver. 6 from buzzheavier. Unpacking gives result "unpacked". Executing install, gives result "lockup" . Must abort the install.
Please advise how to solve this. And thanks for info that ver 6 is needed for newer builds. My previous ver 4.0 was used for 23h2.

I now have a problem installing Build 29550 and 29553. Won't install the keyboard and the mouse. So these builds are useless. Build 295331 is the last one that works. And it comes up with no errors.

I use option one and have no problems except with two above builds.

Do I need to use another number for these new builds or is it something with those builds itself?

    @okaussie3,
Just a hunch, but are you using a laptop with a Synaptics touchpad?
Speaking from experience, Synaptics drivers can cause the loss of keyboard and mouse response.

I'm currently on build 29553.1000 (upgrade was offered in Windows Update) ,and so far everything seems to be working properly.
But I'm using a Dell SFF desktop.
