Endpoint/iSheriff seems to be flagging OEM-Query.exe as "Trojan.Generic" now. I even re-downloaded it and checked the checksum of the file and it immediately flags it. Running a scan on virustotal.com comes up clean.

Be sure when downloading from TUSFILES to uncheck the case: "Use our download manager and get recommended downloads"
If you don't do this an exe file with the same filename as the one you are trying to get is downloaded instead. And for sure it is full of crapware, no doubts.

I'm running into an issue with my Win 8.1 Pro ISO. I did the same thing as I did with my Win 7 Ultimate, but the ISO installs without recognizing a choice of the OS version to install, and it installs as a volume license version instead of reading the BIOS. Anything I can do to further edit the USB ISO I have to be an any oem proper disc? Needless to say I can't enter a license key even from a Pro Pack.

Sounds interesting :cool2:. Would be good to know what ISO we're talking about :g:? The only official Pro i know is the Pro_VL version.

Win 8.x is a different ball game from win 7.

First off run oem-dm dumper to dump key to txt file.
Run pid checker to check key to see what version the oem-dm key is (most are core by default).
Now lets say pid checker matched it to core and you are trying to install and activate pro then oem activation will fail of course.

Without knowing more info we are shooting in the dark.
    It should do branding regardless.

If am I working with install.wim and boot.wim images for WDS testing, where do I put the OEM folder and ei.cfg file? Do I put them in the boot.wim "sources" folder? Or do I put it somewhere in the install.wim file?
