non dev windows installs won't enroll or be setup into any special IP channel but simply be in the retail channel general-availability channel don't exist, it's marketing term same with Windows 11 22H2, you get updates without any "channel" configuration, although it's not "generally available"

wimlib has better compression ratio (although it doesn't recompress install.esd) can you open MCT install.wim with 7-zip and post screenshoot? it may have leftovers from boot.wim
Yeah, MCT don't export (rebuild) new install.wim, it just soft delete first 3 indexes (setup files + boot.wim after creating it), and rename original ESD to install.wim
