@Enthousiast we don't need to install kb4577586 to remove flash player anymore?

Just to double check. If I integrate kb4577586 into an image and do a fresh install, I will still see flash in CP?

    Nice catch/job as always.
Maybe we have a DotNet CU as well?

No, at this moment they are still separate files, and most likely only the info will be bundled (msft probably will mention what ssu belongs to the CU), not the msu/cab files.

How can engine-update updates the engine while installing the update itself? :p

the announcement was a bit misleading, and the news articles made it worse
they will only add SSU as companion with LCU in the same pack available in WSUS or MU catalog

    similar to Win7 SP1 KB976932 which contain SSU KB2533552

This is exactly the implementation to which I was making reference. :D
I mentioned the .NET Framework updates only because most people are more familiar with them being recent.

it's the installer that is integrated, not really Edge (with files, registry keys, etc ...)

There is a new batch of "Upgrades" released on WSUS for Windows 10 versions 1909, 2004 and 20H2.
It is nothing new in terms of version releases, only that it is less typical for WSUS to publish servicing esd packages, immediately after the previous release, which was last month.
The versions released for 2004/20H2 are 19041.572/19042.572 which have already been discussed here.
For those people still stuck in the "old" style of releases, this becomes one of the "official" releases, in addition to what some people name RTM, i.e 19041.264 and 19042.508.

That is included in the mentioned cab but the defender definitions updates will be replaced by new ones every few hours.
