hi ! I get an error when i open the exe. Just after accept the warning about my system, the application shutdown immediately :/
Can you only insert jpegs innto the .pri file, I was wondering if a .gif would work, making it animated?
Do NOT work. Bricked system ahead This does NOT work on my system! It just brick my laptop. Windows 10 TH2 aka 10586.104 on a ASUS ROG G750JH. If i hadn't made a restore point just before, i would have been fooked! I would stay far away from this and use the "Windows 10 Login Changer - By Alphawaves" that actually works!!!! This can be found on this site aswell... And by the way, its the third time i try this. No matter how you update this it will not work. It will only BRICK your RIG!
i have this error ### W10_Logon_BG_Changer Crash ### The invocation of the constructor on type 'W10_Logon_BG_Changer.MainWindow' that matches the specified binding constraints threw an exception. So, this "utility" is messing with core OS files in order to change a wallpaper? Wonderful, definitely worth it. BTW, all this stuff will soon become completely useless (thanks god) since the logon screen background is the same as the lock screen one in the recent preview builds.
Beautiful! Thanks so much. It worked. I had to disable the Registry entry I added though: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHNE/SOFTWARE/POLICIES/MICROSOFT/WINDOWS/SYSTEM/DisableLogonBackgroundImage I read this needed to be added but it didnt.
ARggghhh...I have used this on two machines, one is about 1 1/2 years old. I got a new machine and cannot get it to work. It's a DELL desktop Inspiron 20 Model 3052. It looks like it works, then I reboot and the freakin' blue windows are still there...Any ideas?
I would not use this tool on the newer previews because the tool needs updating. Alpha's tool is down as well. Alpha is busy with real life but I am sure once he is back this will be resolved within his tool.
your github is down and there is a big crash sins this last windows10 update this is the error i get so please get the github back up i miss it Code: ### W10_Logon_BG_Changer Crash ### Not compatible with this PRI file. at SharedLibrary.LogonPriEditor.ModifyLogonGen2(String currentPri, String outputPri, String image) at W10_Logon_BG_Changer.Controls.BgEditorControl.SelectImageEvent_Clicked(Object sender, RoutedEventArgs e) at W10_Logon_BG_Changer.Controls.Commands.SelectImageCommand.Execute(Object parameter) at MahApps.Metro.Controls.TextBoxHelper.ButtonClicked(Object sender, RoutedEventArgs e) at System.Windows.RoutedEventHandlerInfo.InvokeHandler(Object target, RoutedEventArgs routedEventArgs) at System.Windows.EventRoute.InvokeHandlersImpl(Object source, RoutedEventArgs args, Boolean reRaised) at System.Windows.UIElement.RaiseEventImpl(DependencyObject sender, RoutedEventArgs args) at System.Windows.UIElement.RaiseEvent(RoutedEventArgs e) at System.Windows.Controls.Primitives.ButtonBase.OnClick() at System.Windows.Controls.Button.OnClick() at System.Windows.Controls.Primitives.ButtonBase.OnMouseLeftButtonUp(MouseButtonEventArgs e) at System.Windows.UIElement.OnMouseLeftButtonUpThunk(Object sender, MouseButtonEventArgs e) at System.Windows.Input.MouseButtonEventArgs.InvokeEventHandler(Delegate genericHandler, Object genericTarget) at System.Windows.RoutedEventArgs.InvokeHandler(Delegate handler, Object target) at System.Windows.RoutedEventHandlerInfo.InvokeHandler(Object target, RoutedEventArgs routedEventArgs) at System.Windows.EventRoute.InvokeHandlersImpl(Object source, RoutedEventArgs args, Boolean reRaised) at System.Windows.UIElement.ReRaiseEventAs(DependencyObject sender, RoutedEventArgs args, RoutedEvent newEvent) at System.Windows.UIElement.OnMouseUpThunk(Object sender, MouseButtonEventArgs e) at System.Windows.Input.MouseButtonEventArgs.InvokeEventHandler(Delegate genericHandler, Object genericTarget) at System.Windows.RoutedEventArgs.InvokeHandler(Delegate handler, Object target) at System.Windows.RoutedEventHandlerInfo.InvokeHandler(Object target, RoutedEventArgs routedEventArgs) at System.Windows.EventRoute.InvokeHandlersImpl(Object source, RoutedEventArgs args, Boolean reRaised) at System.Windows.UIElement.RaiseEventImpl(DependencyObject sender, RoutedEventArgs args) at System.Windows.UIElement.RaiseTrustedEvent(RoutedEventArgs args) at System.Windows.UIElement.RaiseEvent(RoutedEventArgs args, Boolean trusted) at System.Windows.Input.InputManager.ProcessStagingArea() at System.Windows.Input.InputManager.ProcessInput(InputEventArgs input) at System.Windows.Input.InputProviderSite.ReportInput(InputReport inputReport) at System.Windows.Interop.HwndMouseInputProvider.ReportInput(IntPtr hwnd, InputMode mode, Int32 timestamp, RawMouseActions actions, Int32 x, Int32 y, Int32 wheel) at System.Windows.Interop.HwndMouseInputProvider.FilterMessage(IntPtr hwnd, WindowMessage msg, IntPtr wParam, IntPtr lParam, Boolean& handled) at System.Windows.Interop.HwndSource.InputFilterMessage(IntPtr hwnd, Int32 msg, IntPtr wParam, IntPtr lParam, Boolean& handled) at MS.Win32.HwndWrapper.WndProc(IntPtr hwnd, Int32 msg, IntPtr wParam, IntPtr lParam, Boolean& handled) at MS.Win32.HwndSubclass.DispatcherCallbackOperation(Object o) at System.Windows.Threading.ExceptionWrapper.InternalRealCall(Delegate callback, Object args, Int32 numArgs) at System.Windows.Threading.ExceptionWrapper.TryCatchWhen(Object source, Delegate callback, Object args, Int32 numArgs, Delegate catchHandler) at System.Windows.Threading.Dispatcher.LegacyInvokeImpl(DispatcherPriority priority, TimeSpan timeout, Delegate method, Object args, Int32 numArgs) at MS.Win32.HwndSubclass.SubclassWndProc(IntPtr hwnd, Int32 msg, IntPtr wParam, IntPtr lParam) at MS.Win32.UnsafeNativeMethods.DispatchMessage(MSG& msg) at System.Windows.Threading.Dispatcher.PushFrameImpl(DispatcherFrame frame) at System.Windows.Threading.Dispatcher.PushFrame(DispatcherFrame frame) at System.Windows.Application.RunDispatcher(Object ignore) at System.Windows.Application.RunInternal(Window window) at System.Windows.Application.Run(Window window) at W10_Logon_BG_Changer.App.Main()
guys dont forget that annivarsary login screen merged with lockscreen that means when you change lockscreen picture it will also change login picture which also means we dont need this tool anymore ...hope it helps :3
The login screen same as lock screen merger works about a little more than half the time and it doesn't do away with that obnoxious user account icon (or whatever you want to call it). Alphawaves' tool that worked with th2 gave you a choice of whatever you wanted for the login screen, regardless of your lock screen, and you were able to totally do away with a user account login picture or bland icon that we have there today.
I found this program on the internet and was this version Changelog 0.0.0.4 Then my computer Acer won't start up, is there any way please to fix this? The only thing that happnes is that a circle boot loops and then nothing
How To Change The Image I mean while installing Gen2 OS His name appears in corner of the display while installing the OS sometimes he changes the BG while installing . How to do that .
You can try this : https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...nge-lock-screen-and-wallpapers-in-oobe.77857/
