Hi All, I have a new Threadripper build in the works [First time PC self-build] and have had an awful user experience with Windows 10 Home on a laptop. I've recently discovered LTSC as an alternative and it sounds right up my alley. I was just wondering however if the Windows 10 Scheduler issue that affected Ryzen chipsets will have a noticeably negative performance impact with this CPU. I believe it was fixed in the standard commercial Windows 10 builds with the 1903 patch but not with the latest LTSC builds sadly. I can tolerate a minor performance dip for the comparative cleanliness of LTSC. Alternatively would I be better off just going with Windows 10 Pro and forgetting about LTSC for 4k video content creation? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Thank you! Appreciate your response. I'd never actually considered the Enterprise Edition. I'm assuming Enterprise would update normally similar to 10 Pro? Is there a means of acquiring a clean .ISO of this edition that I can subsequently activate?
All the Info you would need: Build 18362/3 (1903/09) Build 19041/2 (2004/09) also KMS_VL_ALL - Smart Activation Script ... you might want to thank (like) @Enthousiast, @abbodi1406 for all their effort. Hope this helps......
Greatly appreciated Its been an extremely helpful forum so far. I'm so very new to this and have only recently really started tinkering with PCs having just bought then prebuilt for years. Thanks to everyone. I still can't find a direct DL for Enterprise though, I don;t understand the "SVF method" and I can see these versions here via the search function but don't know how to download. Thanks a bunch!
Enterprise is part of the Business ISO/ESD files, on UUP dump you can create an Enterprise Only ISO yourself.
