"Restore Classic Right-Click Context Menus" does not work on 22000.65. Is this a problem for just me? Also, the right-click menu sometimes doesn't appear.
Please no spamming here. Anyone found a way to enable classic context menus systemwide for 22000.65 build? They dont work while using remote desktop or teamviewer.
This doesn't hide show more options. FYI If there are NO show more options then that context menu doesn't show. Just press the "right click" key on your keyboard which is between Alt and Ctrl. You will see that both new and old context menu options are same. Hence the old context menu is disabled in such case. If you have any other entry there like Nvidia Control Panel or AMD stuff then "Show more options" will show.
I think there is no point in pinning that shortcut given it has no left click useful function. (like a browser, for example) Just reenable the good old quicklaunch and the shortcut is already there (as you wrote), it takes less space and is very useful to add other useful items like the recycle bin)
If this is in the wrong section I apologize. I just want to know if someone has figured out how to disable taskbar grouping? I'm currently using build 21996.1.
As in my post "Saw a post somewhere asking about this" so I looked into a workaround to do it, made the screenshots and posted it. Would I be correct in thinking you haven't looked at the functionality of the new taskbar in Win 11 yet? And directly after that i wrote "however right-clicking it doesn't allow it to be pinned to the taskbar." Again your post would suggest you haven't looked at the functionality of the new taskbar. You can't enable the Quick Launch bar any more, unless you have found out how to do it. If so please post a how to, it would be a very popular tweak. The post about restoring Show Desktop is a valid Win 11 tweak, accurate, and tested. @Enthousiast Is it worth adding to the Overview? Restore Show Desktop To The Taskbar
Not correct Sir. I looked at the (lack of) functionality very well and I already suggested a way (one of the many ways) to restore the old functionality. Quicklaunch is just one of them That's all Perhaps your post suggest that you are a bit upset just because I politely suggested something, which as in any forum, is not directed only to the poster but to all the reader, who may find the suggestion useful, even if the poster does not.
No one is upset, you say you have suggested (one of many ways) to restore the old Quick Launch bar functionality, apart from using a third party program as you have done, will you please post a how to on how to do it (in Windows), as you say the reader may find it useful. This thread should be about Windows tweaks (within Windows), not third party apps to achieve things. Otherwise we could all be posting Windows tweaking programs where some features still work in Win 11.
I wonder if the actual reg fix for the prior version is causing this issue. I got it too, first attempt for right click works, and then it wont show up anymore. The same happens in Explorer too.
