hi again guys and gals... i hate to do this..., but lately only this forum seems to be only one for this stuff so my question is... last year, i dled patches for WU-SHA2 thing, SWAGS, DejaBlue, Bluekeep but since windows constantly gets some sec.holes i dont know what were after this is what i have (of newer stuff): KB4499175 KB4507456 KB4474419 KB4490628 is there anything new that was critical to patch 7 with ?
You should get all security-only updates (unless you want to avoid 2 of them that have telemetry) specially KB4534314 from January 2020
You may like to try this Simplix pack which excludes any telemetry updates. https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...egrate-hotfixes-into-win7-distribution.45005/
Well, "excludes" is wrong. Simplix uses full Rollups, which include Telemetry files. However, any Telemetry will be muted.
Are there any known others? I'm in a similar situation as solarstone2149, stopped updating in 2015 and since then I only have the WannaCry and Spectre/Meltdown patches
Please note that Simplix will deactivate all Telemetry. However, it cannot prevent the actual files from being installed, as they are included in the CUs (installing a CU Rollup is an atomic operation, selective install isn't possible). The files are there, but will not do anything. I've always used Security-only updates with hard-blocked Telemetry files. The only ones I couldn't install were the two mentioned.
I was testing on my second system, to find a driver on WU I set up the second system for testing my MDL SiMPLiX AiO tool, on 10 all runs fine, on 7 not yet
January 31, 2020—KB4539601 (Preview of Monthly Rollup) To install only for those who faced black screen problem after installing kb4534310 ?
