Updated the ESU Updates Overview (Aug. 2020): https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...pdates-eligibility.80606/page-70#post-1578167
Hello, @abbodi1406, you maintain wint7. TXT superseded in the monthly summary record: what is the difference between withoutkb3125574 and withoutkb3125574. Superseded: withoutkb3125574 can be found in whdownloader download a file, and the fix in whdownloader withoutkb3125574 maintenance in the library can't find it. Thank you for your answer
@solare This is to support both ESU and non-ESU scenarios in WHDownloader list, and to keep old updates for reference if you want ESU updates, then you not need any WithoutKB3125574 updates
Anyone have an idea why LCU KB4571729 is still offered by WU even though it was installed at the OOBE stage? Might be helpful to know how to determine what WU is looking for.
It is not logical to use ESU monthly rollup without KB3125574 -- @adric WMF 5.1 perhaps? i guess the only way to check is to let WU install it, then check CBS.log to see what new components are installed
After a while, only running check for updates at various times and a few reboots in between, the system healed itself. The only thing that may have triggered it was my last attempt to find out why this was happening where I stopped/started the wuauserv service a few times and kept checking the windowsupdate.log while WU was looking for updates to see if the CU offer was showing up in the log like most offers do. On one of the checks, the CU was no longer offered. I did not install or make any changes to the system.
This month's CU for x86 did not install. It reverts back to the August CU. Will try x64 next. Anyone else?
Is there a Windows 7 image updated with all the latest updates up untill 2020? Something like UUP for Windows 7?
