Looks like the March 2021 .NET updates for Win 7 may have been pulled by MS. They have gone from the Catalog and no longer offered on a fresh search on WU.
SkirtedMouse, thanks for making us aware of that. I was wondering why KB4579977 and KB4603002 were detected and installed earlier today, but aren't detected and installed now. I just did the second of my 4 computers and got KB5000841 installed, but not the .NET Framework updates.
Very strange, yesterday evening I started windows update search and KB5000841 was offered plus two Framework Updates, I installed nothing. Now again windows update search and only the removal tool is offered.
BypassESU-v11 is fully deployed. I just did the last 2 of my 4 computers, and the Windows Update app did not detect and install ANY updates. I manually installed the March 2021 KB5000841 security monthly quality rollup in each of them.
Weird that none of those updates except for the 4 known versions of .NET Framework update has been expired in WSUS. It is probably a matter of them being suspended on WU and reviewed before a decision is made.
win32k.sys share the most basicss in all Windows that's not the first time, they always release standalone update (replace the security only update) to fix issues yes, next Monthly Rollup will get it
I also now installed the v11 on a windows that has not been updated in a few years. It found no updates! How should it work, is the v11 broken? Do we need a new version or is there now another way to update Windows 7?
Go to the appropriate thread and look at the OP, there is information on troubelshooting all about Bypass-ESU
Now it worked. The problem was, I didn't wait long enough. Over a time of few hours the updates appeared, one by one and I did reboot couple of times also. After that, I successfully updated three more computers. Long live W7
