Is it possible to get updates beyond January 2024, until now I am using updates for Windows Server 2008 R2. My system: Win 7 x64 Sorry, wrong in this theme!
It's a bit strange that there's still support for 32bit in the Windows 7 camp, while for Windows 8.x it already ended. Speaking about MS' unloved children.
If I want to build a final Win7 ISO, can I just integrate latest cumulative ESU update or do I really need to integrate all 3457684365934 of these tiny little updates? If so, are there are trustworthy builds from reputable members anywhere?
You will newer get or you can´t make a/an final Windows 7 ISO With all Updates in it. Why,... you must ask s**t|Spy|Malware-soft to unlock hidden updates(to shut windows 7 finaly down) or you can ask here for all updates an the installation way with the gatekeeper funktion called or named service stack updates (ESU-Milking-Stuff). All Windows 7 ISO versions here are old and filled with trash and old so called windows 7 tweaker bulls**t-ware and a lot of .bin (recycle.bin-ware). I wish someone can make a clean pre-activated windows 7 enterprise version with only all necessary lastest drivers and all necessary updates in it to have a wonderful running os/pc at home.
You can make one yourself very easily. Download a clean windows 7 iso, simplix updatepack, download Separate Addons Packages: from this post(just delete the netfx48LPs), put everything you downloaded in one folder(preferably short folder path) and drag&drop the iso over the updatepack.exe. Ignore the nonsensical rant above me.
Then can you tell me the completely trueness why you can´t install all windows editions and theirs updates in an easiest way form KB0000001 to KB9999999 and this for each windows editions...?!
I am trying to install the Dec Updates with W7ESUI and it fails trying to install the latest SSU. I think I have all the prereqs in my packages.txt. I don't know why 5032383 fails. The strange thing is, if I run W7ESUI again, the updates go through fine, which I think has to do with how %_EsuPkg% is set. I was under the impression from the readme that suppressor or bypass wasn't needed with W7ESUI. I only have ESUPatcher installed. See cbs.txt, debug.txt and packages.txt for more info.
2024-01 SMQR For WES7 (KB5034169) - updates IE 11.0.325 to 11.0.330 2024-01 S&QR For MNF 4.8 For WES7 (KB5033916) 2024-01 S&QR For MNF 3.5.1 For WES7 (KB5033899)
W7ESUI doesn't check for pending operation before it install SSU and it modify registry when it add the suppressor, apparently CBS need OS restart to acknowledge the changes W7ESUI was not / does not need the suppressor but it was added to allow ESU updates uninstallation (in case of bugs)
Hmmm, the image I restored to use for installing doesn't have a pending.xml. I just checked. Should I just install BypassESU-v12_u in the image to avoid having to run W7ESUI twice?
