Thanks again for this, I guess I wasn't ready the first time you posted! i added my question to the thread you mentioned, however it seems that the thread is incomplete, almost as though a user who is posting information went and deleted their post afterwards, as the OP who started the thread is asking for information, and seems to be getting answers without any context, which makes it very difficult for someone like me who is new to understand the process by which they are resolving their issue
Windows 7 updates are unpredictably slow for everybody. Especially after playing with RemoveWat, it would be wise to run an mgadiag report, to verify all tampered files have been repaired and activation is successful. See first post of loader support thread.
I think that would be a good idea. I did find WHDownloader which seems to have found numerous updates and have isntalled htem. Is this not the easy way to do this?
thank you for this information...I have installed Simplix and it has found a bunch of updates that the WHDownload application did not find. it seems to be working, however it looks like its installing the same updates over and over again, but i will keep an eye on whats happening. Also, you are correct that we are talking about numerous issues, pardon me for that... Back to your original issue about MGADiag....Would you be so kind as to take me to The mdl Forum thread that contains information about MGADiag? I have donwloaded and installed it, and it says my license state is verified. Am i in the clear here?
I am actually getting updates now automatically and can even search for them with the Get UPdates from Windows Launcher! I am very excited about this. Thanks for everyone's help and input.
STOP THE PRESS ! After thinking everything was AOK, I right clicked on Computer----> properties TAB and saw at the bottom that it says: "One day until automatic activation. Activate Windows now" when I click on this the Windows activation window appears and says "the Windows7 Ultimate product key you typed is invalid for activation" -------------------EDIT------------------- I ran the Windows Loader again, and now it says activated. Strange! Is there someway it became 'un-activated' ? I read somewhere that: " Microsoft figured out a way to get around the KMS localhost patch and put a fix in a few updates" As I dont know much about this I cant speculate. I do know that I installed a bunch of updates though. Am I going to keep having to activate windows with DAZ each time I run updates?
Windows Loader and kms are different things, so what you read about kms is irrelevant when using the loader. With Windows Loader on certain machines, activation can be lost unless a different memory type option is selected under the advanced options tab. I would suggest clicking the loader advanced tab, checking 'disable type 4 memory', then go back and click install button again.
I have done as people have stated by keeping the 'Disable type4 memory' checked and reinstalling. (Disable type for is checked by default), but every day I look at teh status and it says windows is not activates, so I run the loader again, and it stays ok for a while, then stops working.

Sorry for the question and request. I was looking for msdn windows 7 ISOs. For example: it_windows_7_starter_n_with_sp1_x86_dvd_u_678435.iso I searched the forum and I seem to have found some indication in conversion patches https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/windows-7-iso-disc-image-utilities.8717/ Unfortunately I did not understand its use well. Could someone give me some tips? Thank you
Thank you for your reply. I have already checked the SVF files of @GezoeSloog but I haven't found the patch for the it starter n sp1 edition. I would also like to avoid modifying the ISO to avoid compromising its msdn origin.
