The finally expired orphan Flash update KB4462930 + 2020-10 Flash update KB4580325 is still requested by WU with the removal update KB4577586 installed Edit: they actually expired all Flash updates, except the last one KB4580325, as promised https://forums.mydigitallife.net/posts/1617469/
@moderate They un-supersede 2020-10 .NET Security Rollup KB4579979 which was previously superseded by 2020-11 .NET Quality Rollup KB4586085 so KB4578976-NDP48 is now needed to satisfy WU likewise Flash update KB4580325 i re-added both to WHDownloader lists
@abbodi1406 There is no KB4535680 update on Your list? I think, this update is for someone who have EFI boot, at least. Otherwise, WU will not offer this update. And this update is, for x64 systems only.
I decided not to add it for now because of that, and the KB article warnings and precautions it's also seems not compatible with Kaspersky, HP, FUJITSU, Mac Boot Camp
Ok. I will not include this update, too. And seems to me, files inside hotfix is really, really old (from 2019).
So this is what used to be normal behaviour with the 2020-11 .NET Quality Rollup seen as Preview or "Recommended" instead of "Important" to use older terminology. Someone at Microsoft who made the initial decision might not have a good understanding of how this is supposed to work, with only Security Updates for .NET 4.x as required.
Indeed i was a bit surprised when December non-Security replaced October Security https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/windows-8-1-hotfix-repository.47590/page-164#post-1629724
nevermind, we can copy/paste files from a Version 32 r255 without timebomb from other system like Win10 v2004 (without flash player integrate update...) from path -> system32+syswow64 \Macromed\Flash then adobe flash player 32 r255 is back, it allow old/legacy apps to working again (like incredimail , yes still used ! or Scan app from hp or Epson) , not advised but flash player works again in ie/legacy-edge
I've managed to install 8.1 on z490 and almost everything works - except for the Ethernet drivers and few minor things. Since it would be nice to have internet connection I got the Windows 8.1 drivers from Intel (I219-V) but device manager keeps throwing me Code 10 - motherboard adapter can't be started. Tried all recommended solutions I could find on the internet but nothing worked. Would you guys know if this situation is possibly related to missing Windows 8.1 updates? Or should I just buy a pci nic?
