## [0.8c beta] - 2018-10-21 ### Added - messge box promping for a reboot when changing update facilitator settings - tooltips to list view for long texts ### Changed - some buttons are now disabled when no updates are checked ### Fixed - issue with supprot url's nor manualy generated mased on the kb number Anything else before the 0.8 final release?
The "Support Url" function now works great for Installed Updates. Thanks for that. Is it supposed to work for ones listed in Update History? If so, there's an small issue: the KB page for 29289 (Remote Assistance) is opened for all updates listed on that page. Maybe the function is supposed to be disabled for that page? ------------ Problem with Uninstall function: when an update is selected and the Uninstall button is clicked, two dialog boxes are displayed: "Removing Updates failed: Installation failed." followed by: "Unknown Operation failed: Installation failed." Update is not uninstalled. ------------ Those typos in the strings I listed earlier should probably be fixed since they're visible to the user in the info window at bottom. ------------ Is the "Include superseded" option working? I see no difference in what's displayed whether it's checked or not when a Search is performed.
Looks like a small bug. In Update History, no KB numbers are shown (column is empty). WUMgr probably refers to that missing value and substitutes it with the first it knows (lowest number).
v0.8d support url works in update history prior to knowledge i.e prior to population of the installed updates whereby focus moves to installed updates and update history then only has support link for last update all others in history fall to the 29289 v0.8e removal of the support url for update history a good choice so no /uninstall /quiet /norestart in win 10 wusa.exe yet wusa /? does show /quiet so I take it this is an MS bug
is it not the case that it does not work if you are providing the KB but does if you provide the actual update file, so does not work if using /uninstall /kb but if you use the actual update file it does there seems to have been a change between win 7 way and win 10 way win7 still allows /uninstall /kb: /quiet whereas win10 does not allow when using /kb: but does allow when using the file
