My T60 WideScreen: Memory Address7F6DEC16h Table Length104 bytes OEM IDLENOVO OEM Table IDTP-7I Creator IDLNVO When I try to run HWDIRECT I get an error that the hwdirect drive can not be found. I guess cause I am running Ultimate x64? My Vista is not activated by the OEM but by another way. I uninstalled the activation tool so it would not boot any more and my Vista is still activated. Would the backup cert files help you?
@chaddawkins Great idea to gather them There is a little mistake: The table length shown at Everest is 374 THIS IS DECIMAL! To enter at Hwdirect as HEX! You have to enter there as size 176 instead of 374 ! The "h" after a value indicates that it is a hexadecimal value. Please note: 374 = 176h HWDirect and 64 bit: Press f8 during boot of Vista. Goto disable driver signature enforcement. This will last for one session and allows to run HwDirect! There is a comfortable program, called AcpiScope. It allows to show all the Acpi tables and dump each you want. (All in one, very nice!) Please have a look.....
I assume that your Laptop didn't come with Vista preinstalled, right? We need certs of official preinstalled machines. (You used a softmod?) The table length seems too short. It must be 374 decimal or 176 hex. BTW: Copy the backup tool onto a USB stick. Goto different stores and grab the certs
Please run ACPIScope, from Post #1, and tell me what you get when you CLICK ON SLIC does it say 104 bytes? The Creator ID "LNVO" doesn't look right, I think that goes to something else... and even if it is a mod, it shouldn't say 104 bytes thanks for your time
ACPIScope crashes on me too. The F8 boot with no driver signing does not work for me either. I am running x64. It sucks cause I want to add SLIC to my BIOS but I can't cause I am running X64 and it is giving me problems with some tools I need. If anyone has a SLIC BIOS for a Lenovo/IBM T60Widescreen BIOS or can modify it for me then please let me know.
Without doing any mods to my BIOS and finding the right file I was able to activate vista by installing the right xrm file and installing the correct key usings the slmgr.vbs commands... I am guessing my BIOS has the correct table and I have the right files. I'll dump the bios to post it with the other files if needed. Thanks for the help...
Well, that worked out well for you Yeah, we definitely could use the dump & the .xrm-ms Certificate Thanks
Can someone please share Certificate for LENOVOTP-68......TBD? It's Lenovo 3000 N200 notebook. Thanks.
Here you go. This came from the Vista Acitivator FF2.1.2.1.2. Works fine on my T60 with just using the slmgr commands and not the soft mod.
.BIN for LENOVOTP-68....TBD is attached without corresponding certificate, cause I don't have one. Have just sucessfully activated Vista with LENOVOTP-78 certificate, so you can use that. P.S. I've just also checked all available lenovo certificates too, and thay are identical...
AWESOME !!! Thanks! I tried to get this off of a computer @ Be$tBuy, but somebody put a password on the account, and we couldn't figure it out, so i couldn't get it
Can only attach 5 files to Post I tried to attach the files from Post #1 to the Post, however I'm only allowed to attach up to 5. Oh well, i was trying to get rid of the rapidshare links. Unless some admin zeus allows me more attachments, what i'll do is put the last 5 up as attachments [but keep the rapid links for all]
