    Hi,

the AcpiScope report seems to be fine. I didn't make a OEM-DVD so far, so I don't know what exactly is wrong here.
I'd try to install a retail version and apply the ASUS cert. and key manually to see if it works. Strange is "trial version"
After that you'll know that you've got the right ISO to make a OEM-DVD.

Additionally you may upload your AcpiScope report file to check it. (*.ats report from bios.)

Yen, I didn't make an oem dvd.

I just used the downloaded files from the link I posted above. The first copy I used was supposed to be retail.

For the second copy I followed the guide using the website I posted above, but I didn't add any files. I did that manually every time.

    m.. .

Something wrong here when x86 and x64 versions of vista aint activating, why dont you try making an OEM DVD it's easy use a rewritable dvd then that will save you having to activate manually.

Do we have to expect the same gift on all new BIOSes from Asus? :D

Since DiepFries has flashed the FC mod successfully it was probably a flash issue, not a change of code of ASUS.... Maybe stuff used the wrong Afudos version.......

Piar, answer is YES. Every new BIOS version will need to be modded.

DiepFries, didnt use the same file Yen--he used one modded by Fzever

Moreover, through all the research that I did, I never came across any notes saying that you had to use a specific afudos version. I used the one that was on the cd that came with the mainboard. There isnt any documentation stating which version it is.

No problem! Fzeven usually uses the same methods than me. Later on I'll have a look at the mods again.

    @stuff

Are you successful now? The important thing was to figure out that your current mod doesn't work for some reason, and you have to flash again. No other issue.

I got it working, but with the fzeven mod of the 1002 Bios. The only reason I went with that one is because it is the newest version and he had already done it.

I didnt try your, Yen. Sorry. And I didnt want to ask you to mod the 1002 since it had been modded.

Thanks for the help and now I can rest after such a long time of working on it.

    Cheers.. .

BTW: I used the same afudos, as well. It was the mod, sorry. Not sure about the last one you did. I bet it works though.. .

    Glad to hear! :)

No problem, I'll check my mod again. I'm not perfect! (Maybe there is something new for me to learn about!)

The most important thing is that you're issue has been solved......

The modder will (Fzeven) advise you to use the switches, if needed!
Since it's not a AMI ASUS bios you probably won't need it!

    At a FC-mod needed only!
