    Hi all,

I've been reading around these forums with great interest.

I'd like to create a bios mod for an ABit AW9D-Max motherboard.

From what I've read, it would seem to have a Phoenix/Award bios, what would be the procedure and tool(s) to use to modify said bios??

I already have cbrom(as posted by Yen) and the isa module for this, I also have another folder with various isa.bin files from various board manufacturers (again posted on these forums by Yen)although there does not seem to be one from Abit.

I've read the sticky regarding using cbrom, but I'd like to make sure I'm using the right tool for the job and in the right way, so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.

Choose the OEM you want. Use cbrom 182. Just make sure that the ISA.bin, the key and the cert. are from the same OEM, preferred Asus.
At Abit boards it could be possible that the ISA module doesn't work. (no SLIC).

At that case you have to make a superstatic v1 mod or even a OEM7 mod, which are time consuming and more complex.
