ACER TRAVELMATE 4150 NOTEBOOK Can't activate Vista SP1

    No matter what I tried can't activate Wndows SP1 with current non SLIC Bios emulation (tested with Vista Loader 2.0/2.1.2/2.1.3 & Vista Loader 3.0.1) and no one seem to be able to mod the Insyde Software SCU bios. Help...! :(

    Hi
    This is a proprietary bios from "Insyde" (acer and packard bell use it on some board), no tool to open this kind of bios, i test with a eprom programmer last year, i can make only backup and restore. :(

    Same kind of bios : DELL => no tool to open

    delldeco, amideco, awardeco, phoenixdeco....

    Ahmm, the link above allows to download some of them!

    I have tried Phoenixdeco. It still works and is a good tool!

    i just wanna say thanx so much for this thread. i been tryna vista my laptop all day! n yer i was using integrated installs that have worked on my pc b4 and was getting so frustrated.. then i tried what u sed about vl2.0 and manual install and it worked..!

    thanx heaps guyz
