A quick question (I've done a search but can't find my answer): I have Vista on at the moment, running on the timecrack, so I can't get any updates. I want to flash the BIOS so it will be properly activated.

Can I just flash the BIOS and Vista will be activated, or do I have to reinstall Vista from scratch?

Mobo is an ASRock 775 Dual VSTA.

Usually you don't need to install Vista from scratch. Remove crack first. After you have flashed the mod, load setup defaults save and exit. Apply cert and key. Sometimes you need to clear CMOS.
