    Are you sure that your board is the P35 Platinum Combo and NOT the P35 Platinum.
    You need to actually look at the MB to be sure.
    They are different Boards and another user had the same problem but fixed it by flashing with the Correct BIOS.

    I have a modded BIOS for the following board but I can't attach it as it is too big. If someone wants to PM me somewhere to send the file...

    BIOS revision: 724

    SLIC 2.1: HPQOEMSLIC-MPC

    SLP: Hewlett
    Uses 0+2 Method in Award tool.

    Tested with Vista SP1
