    As said before, it's 7
    proof : 6-1*0+2/2 = 6 - 0 + 1 = 7.

    Gods, it stucks you all? That's **** math's from Primary School! 7 is my answer. 6 - 1 * 0 + 2 / 2 = 6 - (1 * 0) + (2 / 2) = 6 - 0 + 1 = 6 + 1 = 7

this question is incomplete without brackets;)

    for those getting 7- 6-(1*0)+(2/2) = 7
    for those getting 2- 6-(1*0+2)/2 = 2
    for those getting 5- {(6-1)*(0+2)}/2 = 5
    may be 1 if - (6-1)*0+(2/2) = 1
    INFINITE ANSWERS:D

    6-1 = 5

    5 x 0 = 0

    0 + 2 = 2

    2 / 2 = 1

It's pretty amazing how many people here don't know basic math. Implied parenthesis go around the 1x0 and the 2/2. Since addition/subtraction and multiplication/division are EQUAL in their level of importance in regards to the order of operations, you then work from left to right, starting with the subtraction, which is NOT in any way against the order of operations.

If you're really having that hard of a time, punch it into a scientific calculator that does the order of operations for you. And there you have it. No one should even be arguing about this. Math is definitive.

As soon as I saw someone else answer specifically noting the order of operations with implied parentheses, I remembered. I'm so used to removing all doubt in my own equations by specifying parentheses. :)

    As per the BODMAS rules:-

    B - By
    O - Off
    D - Division
    M - Multiply
    A - Addition
    S - Substraction

    6-1x0+2/2
    6-1x0+1
    6-0+1
    6+1
    =7

Using the BODMAS rule, the answer would be 7..

    6-(1x0)+(2/2)
    = 6-(1x0)+(1)
    = 6-(0)+(1)
    = 6-0+1
    =7

    I think its correct...?

No both have the result of 7.

There is actually no order for multiplication and division and no order for subtraction and addition.
Everything parenthesized is a own unit (factor).

    1. Exponentation / to extract the root (which is actually nothing than an exponent of 1/n)
    2. Multiplication / Division (which is actually nothing than to multiplicate with 1/n)
    3. Addition / Subtraction (which is actually nothing than to add a negative number)

One can go one order down by logarithm.

For instance from exponent to multiplicaton (1. to 2.)
    log(xy) = y*log(x)

    or 2. to 3.
    log(x*y) = log(x)+log(y)
